This is very sad.
Some people here are laughing.
I used to think badly of these people butvthose born with 2 sexes are really in pain. Society doesn't understand or accept them.they cannot get a job a ID card education marriage notjing. Their lives are over b4 they start.
I think and hope people are laughing at the men who dress as women for just money and do crapy things

Commendable effort. However, this is not integration. All school should educate children on such matters that there are people of such biology and should not be looked as something out of ordinary or looked down upon. Unfortunately, in Pakistan transgenders are veiwed through a very disgusting lens. This will take time to rectify just like any behavioural trait does. Also, if Allah decided to make someone a transgender then who are we to judge. It is their test and we all have ours. If we can have co-education in higher echelons then surely including transgenders shouldn’t be a problem.

The fact that there is a separate school for such children is a discriminatory travesty by itself, despite the noble intentions.

Unfortunately, you cannot - as we saw/see in the US and other “modern” societies that even with laws it takes decades to change prevalent attitudes. There are separate LGBQT nightclubs, apps and neighborhoods. They did not come up by choice of the people in them but part of a social protection circle to keep away from discrimination. So, the same applies here - unless these people have a safe space and society overall is educated , discrimination wont end by putting everyone together and hoping it all works out. It hasn’t ended in the US from the days of the Montrose rallies of the 70s and to pride parades today. But society has changed slowly to where discrimination has moved to the fringes in urban environments or thrives in the rural less educated and exposed variety.

And bear in mind,we(Americans) are part of world leadership in progression and innovation(despite setbacks in the current GOP movement) and yet being 150 years ahead in institutional thought hasn’t led to ending of discrimination even with a high literacy and education rate. Comparing a society with barely 10% of it like Pakistan and its evolution and progress is unfair and frankly has no value.

transgenders have equal right to survive they are always considered to be a third class citizen with almost minimum rights, now it is up to sane people in power weather they wanna let them live same way as they are living miserably for many decades or give them other options to make their decent living, and i am fully agreed with the idea of their separate educational institutions because many in our society bullied them as and when they want because they consider them less human.

Hold on, Are they Transgenders or Intersex aka Kawaja Sira? cause Transgenders are those who transformed themselves into the other gender which are not born in, I think the community in the OP is the ones we call Hijra or Intersex (neither male nor female).

The Intersex people aka Khawaja Sira are not Homosexuals nor they are not Trans People which a lot of people are thinking from the west, they are not those who think they are born in a wrong body or so on, they are people whom Allah has made the way they are, some have both male and female genitals, so yes those people have every single right as anyone else in any society based on Islam as well, these people are suppose to be going into any schools they want, go to any college they want and any university they want, they are entitled to pick whichever gender they want to and put it on their official documents. A separate building for them not the ideal but at least a correct step in the direction, so let them be educated, and become vital part of our societies, they deserve it and state owe them.
