Why you think India is no 1 trading partner of SL? I read the stats few weeks ago, EU & USA is our main trading partner. Between EU & USA, I think it's USA. If not then it's EU.

Others include: spices, gems, coconut products, rubber and fish. Main export partners are United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium and Italy. Sri Lanka is no threat. I don't know why people making so much of fuzz. SL is just 100 KM away from our south Border with our 100 warships, CBG, ATV in few hundred KM.

India is our main import trade partner I have mentioned that above.
Our export trade partners are differ, we mainly based on garments and those stuff goes to EU & USA. Stats shows as EU (Even the wiki mentioning it as EU) that's why I had mentioned it, next USA, then India.

No 1 Trade Partner> Export > USA
No 1 Trade Partner> Import> India
