Osama was not sheltered, anyone who has been to Pakistan knows that the type of home he was living in is common place. As for Mullah Omar I honestly think the dude is long dead by now but if he is alive I bet someone in PA knows where he is.

Whether he was sheltered there intentionally or not, the fact that he was comfortably residing near Pakistan's equivalent of West Point is truly embarrassing and leaves one to question Pakistan army's and intelligence agencies competency. The pertinent point here is that Indians , unlike Pakistanis, are not proud of receiving aid. Our government has asked Britain to cease all aid to India and it would stop once current tranche expires in 2017. The US aid that you are talking about is not a bheek but a negotiated settlement in Copenhagen climate summit of UNFCCC where developed ( annex-II ) countries agreed to pay developing countries to reduce greenhouse emission which due to technology saturation could not be done in west.


Compare this with Pakistanis who are celebrating Aid as if they have performed umrah.

I am not a cruel man who would take away these tiny morsels of joy from Pakistanis.I being a well wisher just wished that Pakistanis get the chance to feel proud of being an Aid dependent country for forever.

ah!!! can you at least tell me if your intention is to troll here, or you are actually looking for an answer and a debate???
whatever the case, here it is --- What you said above is an answer in itself, US has been pushing us to go in NW and fight the militants, they threatened us by stopping CSF - but did we launch an offensive then??? I wonder why not then, and why now???

it is simple, we were not ready, the internal political situation of the country and economy did not allow us to do so --- then comes the Leader, Kiyani did his job well, he kept military at bay from entering politics, kept everything in balance, what he lacked was the willingness to launch an offensive, and that is because of above mentioned reasons---Today is a different ball game....
