Nonsense. Quality costs money. Nobody should buy a $6k car. What to expect from so a cheap car? Such low quality car will fall apart in few months.
You have no idea how an effective supplier network works to lower the cost, but still have a good quality control. Chevy Sail sells about 600k units in China in the last five years. Not a big number (China's total car sales last year was 24 million units). But the sales volume is sufficient enough to prove its quality. Fall apart in few months. That's nonsense.
Cannot build the car in the $3k cost limitation? Sorry, then your car has zero chance in China. I've told you already, Chevy Sail sells at $6k in China, which sets the price ceiling to your joke fadil ($3k, no more).
Fyi, as of mid of Feb, 6,700 Vietnamese have placed orders with the most expensive model SUV ($80k) as the top purchase.
interesting. Tell us the following then:
- For a so-called order, how much you need to pay in advance as a deposit? Is the deposit refundable (i.e. if you later cancel the order, can you get your deposit back)?
- Are there any real cars that could be test driving now? Does the so-called 6,700 customers have the chance to do at least one test drive before the order?
- Are they actually "real" customers? Are there any "relationship companies" hidden behind? the investor of the vn car company has a big business in the country. Hence lots of suppliers for different business areas. For a big company, it is so easy to request (in a subtle way) its suppliers to order some vehicles as a proof of friendship. I guess even a large portion of the orders are done by the company itself (or its subsidiary). For example, how about "buy one property, get the usage right of the car for 12 or 24 months"?
You seem to have interest of low priced Fadil, here a test report (in Vietnamese)
you call this test report? where is the test then? I don't understand the vn language. But at least I can watch. All that I can see is a man walking around the car, like a sales person. He even not opens up the car door to let others see how the interior is, how the space of the rear row is, how the console is, how much soft materials, how much hard materials, any high tech features there, etc and etc. Needless to say a real drive to show how the driving performance is. Nothing at all! Only walking around the car from the outside. And you call it as a TEST!
I guess very likely the car door is locked. Or the car company does not allow the guy to open the door. This is not J20 or F22. What are they trying to hide?
Let me show you what a real car test video looks like. India media test drive the Chinese cars. We can see the car from inside, outside, and more importantly, driving.
BTW, the red SUV you see, MG HS, is priced starting from RMB 120k/ USD 18k. Compared to the joke Fadil with the same price, tell me which you think Chinese customers would choose?
