First grade Pakistani boy beaten on US school bus for 'being Muslim'

. . .
I think this is regrettable but its notbjust the mistake of bullies but rest of muslims too. They have made islam a terror.
Its their duty or keep facing the consequences. Which will be certainly unfortunate.

The parents of a seven-year-old boy said he was bullied and thrashed by at least five students on his school bus as they made references to Muslims and his Pakistani origin.

“These are six and seven year old kids calling him names, with one kid punching him in the face, while two other kids attacked him, kicked him, and held his arms back,” said Dr. Zeeshanul Hassan Usmani, Abdul Usmani’s father. Usmani described his son as “as American as you could get.”

He went on to say that his wife and three sons had already left the US for Pakistan following the incident and long history of discrimination towards the family.

Welcome to the United States of America of Donald Trump. Meet my son Abdul Aziz. He is in grade 1, bullied and beaten by his own classmates in school bus for being a Muslim

“They keep beating him all the way from school to home on the bus,” Usmani elaborated as he talked about his son’s ride home from Weatherstone Elementary School in Cary, North Carolina, last Friday. The boy is traumatised after the attack and is suffering from a strained arm, he added.

Muslims most disliked group in America, report reveals

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Wake County Public School System Lisa Luten told BuzzFeed News that the principal of the school initiated an investigation into the incident.

“[The principal] interviewed seven students sitting near this child, and none of the students, nor the bus driver, witnessed any type of altercation or incident,” Luten said.

The spokesperson added that the principal was to interview one more child at the school but added that he had not been able to get in contact with the family since Friday.

When told about the boy being discriminated, Luten claimed that “When [the family] originally shared the information, they did not share any info about religion or race, and just that their child was bullied.”

Usmani, 38, first came into the country from Pakistan as a Fulbright Scholar and currently works at a Sillicon Valley data software company as Chief Technology Officer.

Usmani revealed that his family had faced harassment by a neighbour for months because of their religion and even one of his sons was called a terrorist. He claimed that his son’s fellow students earlier attempted to force feed him food after finding out he only ate Halal food, meat slaughtered as per the Islamic law.

Muslim students fear deportation, incarceration under a Trump presidency

“Times are changing and it’s not the America we always thought of and believed in. It’s not the America that I studied in,” Usmani said. “If [Donald] Trump wins, America will be great again, but a great that nobody will care about,” he said while referring to the Republican presidential nominee.

“All of these events, by the neighbors and everything skyrocketed since the beginning of the presidential campaigning last year. That’s why I’m coming back from Pakistan to empty my apartment [in North Carolina] and wait and see what happens,” Usmani maintained.

According to a report by the Council on American-Islamic relations, 55 per cent of Muslims pupils in California had reported some form of bullying on the basis of their religion. School bullying of Muslims has escalated dramatically as high as twice the national average, it added.

People who are living in denal and calling it an isolated incidence are living in fools paradise, things are changing quite rapidly in west and North America. It had happened with my own sone when he was only 12, and guess what they all got the befitting response, indact one of them almost lost his nose, now these kids don't even dare to come anywhere near to him.

Although I am not in favour of doing these things but every now n then you need to show few surprises.

Just wait till Trump becomes the leader of this nation which is a true possibility. These "isolated" incidents are going to become very mainstream. We know what Trump and his supporters stand for. No amount of sugarcoating can disguise the blatant hate. Blaming the media or the left won't work. Whether we like it or not, these elections have laid bare the intolerant and hateful side of this country and it is not isolated or small by any means.
US has a powerful system in place. American President is just a face.

Donald Trump cannot change anything. He is exploiting the sentiments of the people to gain votes. In reality, he is a business man and he will never hurt his business prospects worldwide.

I have. I have also met the disgusting rednecks that hate anything foreign and Muslim. They exist and in sizable numbers. I can confirm first hand.

The good and bad people argument won't suffice in the current US climate where people of color are systematically shot by the police and beaten up at election rallies. A horrendous scene in which people from a certain background are mass labelled rapists and people belonging to a certain faith are cheered to be banned. I can go on an on, but I'm sure you get the point. It is not normal and it is certainly not isolated. It is very planned and deliberate. It is pure hate and its proponents have hidden behind the facade known as Trump. They have found a voice which represents their disgusting hateful views.
As I pointed out earlier, there is good and bad in every country.

Daniel Pearl's case doesn't tells you anything? Should we assume that entire Pakistan is hostile to Western people?

The fact that you can meet rednecks and live to tell the tale, is proof enough of American environment being friendly in general.

In Pakistan, there are literally no-go areas for the Western people at present. Heck, there are literally no-go areas for Punjabi citizens of Pakistan within Pakistan.

This is a case of bullying in the schools. It is common phenomenon worldwide.

Preliminary investigations reveal that the kid spent a considerable time at a Madrissa Montessory in Pakistan, travelled extensively to tribal areas, went to ISI run summer camps and his personal emails have revealed that he was coordinating with ISIS + a whole lot of extremist literature was recovered from his I-pad, but most importantly he had Osama Bin Laden's wallpaper installed.

.
The first question to ask is whether the school bus has any on-board video of the incident.

A powerful system which allows cops to shoot black African Americans with impunity and allow brutes such as Zimmerman to walk freely. Don't lecture us about a perfect system which doesn't exist.

Exactly. The sentiment of many American people is hostile and filled with anger. They believe they have the God given right to feel victimized at every step and blame everyone around them. The hateful and unsavory sentiment of a lot of American people has been exposed badly. The argument about good and bad doesn't hold in this instance. We know that good and bad people exist everywhere, but in the US only good was supposed to exist. These elections have absolutely exposed how much bad there actually exists in a land that always proclaims to be good. It is not isolated and there are many terrible folks out there.

Stop confusing this incident with the murder of Daniel Pearl. Pakistan has been dealing with militancy for a long time. Don't even get me started about the militancy and its root causes. You know every well that the country that you are defending is also largely responsible for sowing Cold War Jihad around the world and particularly Pakistan. There is no relevance between the hateful bullying and the killing of Daniel Pearl. They are on a different scale and both have their own unfortunate reasons. It is like comparing apples with oranges. Nice try though.

LOL How on earth is it friendly for anyone to meet disgusting characters who openly spew hate against others based on prejudice and lies? Just because I was able to meet such hateful caricatures doesn't make them "friendly". On the contrary, people who openly spew hate against others cannot be labelled good or friendly. Perhaps your definition of "friendly" differs from others.

What relevance does Pakistan's no go areas have with the bullying of this kid? Are you perhaps trying to justify the hateful bullying? Trying to find reasons to put the onus on others? Not good.

The cat finally comes out of the bag. You need to get off the "Punjabi" high horse. Punjabis/Westerners aren't the sole victims of no go areas in Pakistan. Pakistanis from all walks of life and ethnic backgrounds are killed in terror attacks and not allowed to enter certain areas as you put it. Punjabis or Westerners aren't an exception. Also, who is actually responsible for the no go areas? Do you even know how these areas came into existence? Everyone knows the answer to that unfortunate tale.

It is not a case of simple bullying. The parents have clearly pointed out that the kid was bullied because he is a Muslim and a Pakistani. The parents know better because the kid is after all theirs.

There is an investigation. It will reveal what happened, and corrective steps will be implemented. If the family feel their civil rights have been violated, they can take the matter to court to get justice easily.

A sad incident and the culprits must be booked under proper law. But I hate to see painting an entire Nation black or white based upon a few incidents like this. People who are criticizing US as a racist country forget two important facts; It is them who will run first to this 'racist' country given a single opportunity and it's the desis who are one of the most racists in this world, if not the worst.

Very bad and shameful. Looks to me that the whole bus was involved as no one witnessed the incident and the Principal is looking to save Schools Reputation.
you cannot draw conclusions like that

US must change her name from United States of America to United States of Trump

Why is Pakistan called "Islamic Republic of Pakistan" ? There is nothing "Islamic" about many of your actions
