First German warship in almost two decades enters South China Sea

Because China does not feel that the British and German navies pose a threat to China. It was a show, including Spanish sailing ships coming to the South China Sea to perform.

China has always taken the U.S. Navy seriously. You should know that the U.S. Navy has had many accidents in the South China Sea, such as a nuclear submarine crashing into a mountain.

China has the ability to completely control the South China Sea, even if all the Western navies come together, they will not have a chance to win.

yes thats like saying I let the robber take my stuff because I didnt need it

. .
what did the British and German navies take?

what factual loss did they cause China?

China clearly does not know how to play with navies

apart from international embarrassment and credibility which I guess doesn't effect a shameless person when someone shows up at your house with a weapon of war and you dont confront it, it shows weakness from the very top leadership you lose credibility

weakness to confront and weakness to react and gives others the chance to do it even more like now Australia is going to do it too

but China doesn't understand how naval power projection works nor will It ever understand , its more concerned with killing and arresting its own citizens building tin cans and fanboys re-posting those shiny photos for personal satisfaction

so leave that to the real navy like Royal Navy its big boys game

China has sent warships to Europe before. What's the big deal.

no wonder China cant deploy its Carrier to Mediterranean

I am talking about deterrent patrols

.
yes and Royal Navy set the standard

they sailed 11,000 miles bought a brand new HMS QE and parked it right in the South China Sea

and said come on China lets see what you can do, they did nothing and Chinese were saying oh so what its only a carrier

now everyone Knows China wont do anything so even Germany is doing it and soon other will follow
the same navy who lost a 5th generation fighter just because it forgot to take the cover off ......

UK can take the loss its got a proud naval history and tradition and they have big hearts

if China sent Casino carriers CV16 and CV17 on 9 month deployment covering 22,000 miles on their maiden voyage there would be not copy cat Su33 left

its not a loss, its negligence and a stupid mistake not expected from a so called super navy...

yes communist think like this and thats why they would most likely execute the pilot for this mistake and his family would be shamed and dishonoured

developed sensible nations learn from mistakes and move on and develop further

Sailing in the Mediterranean is far less provocative than a military exercise with Russia in the Baltics, a key flashpoint.

Just like a stroll in the South China Sea where you down your own plane isn't as provocative.

its called a accident and it happens

if you fly 22,000 miles on a 9 month deployment visiting 44 nations something will give and you will suffer a loss

I know Chinese cannot comprehend such a loss because you have small hearts and cannot sustain such a loss which is why China has never sent its Carriers outside South china Sea

.
The frigate Bayern is the first German warship to cross the South China Sea since 2002, waters that 40% of Europe's foreign trade flows through.

These fcukers don't understand out of that 40% trade, 30-35% is done with China.
