First Female Fighter Pilot From Lower Dir.

Yea you should first find out what mark is considered average in PAF compared to say the USAF.
USAF have very high averages. Takes a lot to get selected for fighters.

Lol..US military is facing recruitment issues. The current generation of Americans don't really like the military and has lost the will to fight. It is no wonder they have started to fill these vacant slots by transgenders, women and homosexuals...

They recently announced a lot of incentives for young men to join but still the response was not up to the mark.
Fighter jets are too dumb to differentiate between any genders, the rules are written in blood. Meet the requirements and description, and you'll have a career as a fighter pilot in the USAF, that's what a USAF guy told me recently.

Kaynat Junaid has the distinction of becoming first female fighter pilot from Lower Dhir to join Pakistan Air Force.

Picture on the right indicates more like a helo pilot.

''In the PAF, too, above average means a rather higher classification than in most other, and considerably bigger, air forces. Compared with the USAF, for example, whose standards the PAF largely adopted in place of its original RAF organisation after it began receiving MAP equipment in 1954-55. a Pakistani pilot is required to score 55-69 per cent in air-to ground gunnery instead of 37-59 per cent to be graded "above average." The "exceptional" grading is similarly up-rated between 70 and 100 per cent by the PAF. while the USAF accepts 60 per cent and above for this standard. An "average" grading in the PAF means scores of 40-54 per cent (which corresponds approximately to the USAF "above average"), while the American equivalent is gained with 25-36 per cent. Similarly, with air-to-ground rocketry, the PAF requires hits within 25ft of a target to score an "exceptional," compared with 30ft by the USAF. Corresponding standards in the remaining categories are: above average. PAF 26-40ft, USAF 31-45ft; average, PAF 41-57ft. USAF 46-60ft; below average. PAF 58ft and above. USAF 61ft and above.''

Your statement implies that our women fighter pilots are not up to the mark which I dont think is true. The physical part is not that big a handicap once given proper conditioning. Mentally they can be just as good as men. You just need to find the right human resource!

I don't want to be party pooper but do we seriously need to have females in combat roles when we already have enough males to fulfill these positions ? Is coddling to feminists and diversity champions really that important ?
How would the enemy treat her if she is caught behind enemy lines ?
Your male ego couldn't tolerate a woman getting significance right?

If she has been entrusted to be a fighter pilot by PAF then rest assured she will be good enough to be one. Who knows she might be an even better aviator than many men.

Khuda na khuasta..... If gungadeshi rapists get their hands on this "gori larki", do you know what they will do to her?
We always have peculiar ways of showing gender equality. For the record I'm all for women's rights.
Me too. Women shouldn't be sent across the borders. Its better to make them instructors.
These are showpieces...they will fly F7pg on non-combat missions and if they are lucky, they will retire alive...

Mashallah May she one day fly f16 or jf17 and down enemy jets
also people should know
During World War II, women pilots flew 80 percent of all ferrying missions. They delivered over 12,000 aircraft.

I added a comment to the content you had posted. No need to tell me about research. Hope this clears any confusion.

Cheers!!!

you are right but we have to please the west by giving them the "soft " image of pakistan. its a reality that in our cultural set up women are not performing the same duties as men are but still we induct them
I hope you know what Quaid e azam said about nation's progress and women. Stop being insecure, women are no less than men.

Ones offensive and ones defensive. I'm sure your smart enough to figure out which one is which and why.

then why there are separate sports events for women and men? why women are not playing cricket along side men? there is a very basic difference between men and women but only blind cant see it. a lady fighter pilot gets pregnant and cant fly fighter jets for an year at least. so why you are inducting them? from where you deduced that i am against progress of women? they should join the fields where they can perform well.

Dont worry about what the enemy will do to them and use that as an excuse to preclude them from following their passion and duty. The enemy can do everything to you as a man as well that they could to them.

What will they fly once F-7s are retired from service?

She's surely going to face a lot of ragging at the academy because of making her selection public and showing off.:D

We dont have any FEMALE FIGHTER PILOTS.

Funfact: Women Fighter pilots in the more advanced airforces get to fly jets which even our male PAF pilots can only dream of flying. I wonder why our female pilots hardly make it through to a F7 Pg or a rare case JF 17 pilot.
no female pilot on jf17

What is life if you can't live the dream? She is there because Allah answered her prayers and for no other reason.
