First Ever Pakistani Company Gets Contract to Export Meat to Saudi Arabia via Sea

The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL) in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), announced that it has secured a high-value contract for the supply of frozen boneless meat with a multinational company called ‘National Food Company (Americana)’ in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

National Food Company is one of the most successful organizations in the Middle East and is considered to be one of the largest food manufacturing and distributing companies in the region, read the notification.


According to the details shared by the company, the value of this contract is approximately $3.9 million, and the timeline is for twelve months. The Pakistani company will supply 100 MT of frozen boneless meat on a monthly basis via sea to Jeddah.



TOMCL is the first company from Pakistan to be approved by the multinational food processing company for the supply of meat from Pakistan. It is also the only company to have gotten approval from the Saudi Arabia Drug Authority (SFDA) to export frozen meat via sea to KSA.

Americana has a huge presence in Saudi Arabia. Grew up eating their franks (sausages) and nuggets.
3.9 million dollars is peanuts compared to their market share, but it's a good start for sure.

Why are you not a farmer? Farming or working the land is one of the most respected profession along with working with animals

Pakistan, lots of cattle, high meat and milk consumption (massive increase since 1961 guess the US debt party has been VERY good for Pakistan like the rest of Asia). But sure don't export much meat or milk. Why? Perhaps because there is a HUGE surplus of meat and milk. Huge surplus would mean if you buy you buy from your allies. Saudi Arabia might be sending Pakistan a message. Be our friend, fight our wars for us.

Seems Pakistani, at least in milk and meat production consumption, are very similar to their cultural and genetic cousins, those rival tribes of nomadic Germans who migrated into Europe, destroyed Rome, brought the darkness to Europe and now call themselves Europeans. No surprise that the Germanic nomads stuck in tiny Europe keep invadiing Russia. They are attempting to escape Europe and get back to their homes in Central Asia. Russians keep kicking the crap out of them.

We would never truly have surplus of meat and milk in Pakistan.

The society is either starving or suffering from over eating.

We do however trade. And those were innocent Gastarbeiter in Rome and no part in its crumble given the governance failure of the system.
