But the crux of the matter is that how can we ensure that Afghanistan does not go back to playing games in cahoots with India. This is the sole determinant of our Afghan policy. Americans promised us this much, but actually did nothing. That is the only reason why Pakistan turns a convenient blind eye.

Damn Musharraf. Had there been a democratic civilian government in place in 2001, we could have been in a much much better position vis-a-vis Americans. Damn commando only knew how to double-cross like in Kargil episode.

You think that they have only penetrated in Lahore? They have penetrated everywhere. RWP,ISB,LHR,QTA,KHI you name it. Taliban shuura was allegedly hiding in Quetta. We had the brother of a Police SSP arrested from Islamabad. We had teenagers arrested in Rwp. We had Khalid Shaikh Muhammad arrested from Karachi. Umar Patek arrested from Abbotabad. We had Osama hiding in Abbotabad, Haqqani hiding in Islamabad and the list goes on. Even the Peshawar Highcourt has indicated in its verdict that around 90% of Afghan refugees are involved in illegal activities. Why isn't there a consensus on deporting them back to Afghanistan?
There may be hundreds of AQ attackers hiding in cities of Punjab, but if Punjab government fails to act against them, I can guarantee you, US will certainly do. So its always in the best interest of Punjab government to make a preemptive move rather than sitting idle ignorant of basic facts. Same applies to KPK. Like Nawaz Sharif said we have to put our own house in order first.......
