First Chinese series ‘Beijing Youth’ set to air on PTV

ISLAMABAD – A 36-episode long Chinese drama, Beijing Youth, will be on-aired on Pakistan’s state TV channel, PTV soon for the first time, tweeted Ambassador of China to Pakistan Lijian Zhao.

A 36 episode TV series Beijing Youth will be on air on PTV. It was dubbed into Urdu in Karachi. China Radio Intl translated it from Chinese
Beijing Youth is a famous Chinese serial directed by Zhao Bao, is about four cousins born and raised in Beijing. These four Beijing youths work hard towards their respective goals and experience trials and tribulations in life and love.
Recently PTV and China Radio International signed an agreement to broadcast the drama dubbed into Urdu on national TV in early November.
“The translation of the drama is in place, the quality of the sound is good, the actors in the play are very capable and we can concentrate on the modern China’s customs,” deputy director of the Pakistani state television station.
Previously, many Turkish-Urdu dubbed drama series are being shown on different Pakistani channels.
