A NATO country going for Russian S-400s? Didn't Turkey already deploy Patriot PAC-3 ?

What's more interesting is that Turkey seems to be deploying S-400s ahead of Iran which only recently got access to the older S-300s.

NATO could now get access to S-400's strengths and weaknesses through Turkey.

NATO could now get access to S-400's strengths and weaknesses through Turkey.

We have Patriots deployed under Nato, we don't own them but this new tender will be ours. There are other NATO countries which are using Russian systems. For ex. Greece has S-300 and NATO most probably already know the system to the smallest screw.

So what is the purpose of S-400s? Doesn't Türkiye trust NATO members ? May be it is for the Türkiye-Greek war where NATO members may support Greece over Türkiye?

About who supporting the PKK? The West, right? Only when it's the Germans, the French, the British or the Americans supporting them it's a problem and Turkey won't buy their SAMs, but when it's the Russians, or the Arabs everyone in the AKP is closing their eyes and everything is cool.

What about Russia's never ending support for the PKK ever since it's foundation? The PKK was founded as a marxist- leninist organization and was supported by the USSR and the Warsaw pact for many years. Just look at Russia's role in Syria and how Assad and them are together with the PYD every time it's against Turkey. A lot of PKK's weaponry is russian- made etc.

Instead of investing billions in Russian equipment that we will have to wait years for and which will take lot's of time to integrate we should better invest in our own capabilities and try to develop our own system. We should better look for a partnership with neutral and friendly countries like Pakistan, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and why not even Brazil.

I wish The russians sold real S400 ! I dont know why but i cant relay on russians.
How could we knowlodged S400 would work properly? If they put some shits in systems which transfers secret info to Russia?

Well there is one detail though the western countries are our NATO Allies while Russia was always hostile.

Russia is not Turkey's allies while US supposibly are, so their support to PKK is much less aggravating.
Russia's goal in Syria is clear (protecting Assad) while US's goal with YPG is much more obscure.
And for this deal Russia have the better price and they supposibly share more technology.
