Jammu, Jun 3 (PTI) Pakistan today violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control when they fired on an Indian army patrol party near a forward post at Swajian area of Poonch district, an army official said. During patrolling of LoC, an army patrol party was fired upon from a Pakistani post at Kopra late this afternoon, he said.

Over 15 rounds were fired on the patrol party on indian forward side, he said adding there was no casualty or injury to anyone on Indian side. Indian troops maintained restraint and did not fire back, the official said.

Pakistan Army is doing a great job in defending itself. India must have violated first like usually and Pak Army acted.

the pakistani army is seriously impaired right now...it would be a foolish move to get into a skirmish with us...they cant fight on two fronts..

.
Wats foolish and wats not is not for us to say ! these things happen from both sides at times thats it & nothing is impaired my friend i just hope this kind of thing doesn't turn in to more rubish tensions between the two i really hope and pray for peace & i hope others feel the same way!

Even if it is true, the indian should not drool about it, keeping their track record, 15 rounds really make it a guud joke. Though i seriously doubt that this was the actual story. Any other source?

Or may be it is another back-stabbing stunt by the indians, another Mumbai Drama?

looks like you'd never believe that mumbai wasn't a drama...!
enigma947...please dont give into spicy and false propaganda...pakistan (by that your govt.)believes that the drama is a reality...

Great!

You can now all have a huge blame flame :flame: base on a pathetic snippet of news that caries absolutely NO detail.

In any little border clash there is always two sides to the story and neither part of this has been presented.

Why not wait till the full investigation has been carried out. By then with any luck you would have forgotten the whole thing.

Ok flame on as usual.:flame:

Get the hint or is it to subtle!

Dude this is normal news happend on border on every other day, move on guys.

What Indians claimed to have happened was not a drama, I agree.

It was actually a fairytale, whereby they want us to believe that 10 or so intoxicated Pakistanis got into a tiny little dingy, fully loaded with thousands of rounds of ammunition, and travelled several hundred miles across the Indian ocean into Mumbai.

They split up into groups of two – took a city of millions hostage, killed dozens at a train station and then calmly walked across the street, and held up several thousand Indian commandos for over a day without getting killed in the process.

lik Indian COAS said that sometimes its the infiltrators but indian troops at the border confuse it with pakistani soldiers.
so dont worry and carry on with ur lif

Yeah - don't we have a clip of the current Indian COAS admitting publicly that the alleged ceasefire violations along the LoC were very likely a result of confusion between the two sides when one or the other fired on militants (or suspected militants) attempting to cross the LoC?

Fairy tale or drama or bollywood story you can say whatever but if i go by your logic and assume that it was indian establishment tectical disater (which it of course is) then what you have to say about 14 terrorist (so called RAW agents) firing in the middle of city (lahore) for 30 min and then walking away unharmed never to be caught....

Couple of terrorists (again alleged RAW) entering police training center and killing and injuring many and all that rangers could get was lone man outside the campus........

40 armed men enter and try to capture Buner.........

Couple of hundred millitents with assault guns fighting the mighty Pak army (fully equiped) in Swat and yet giving them hard time and bloody nose......

My dear that there is a difference between gorrilla and gurrilla.

It is not the question of 10 men or 100 men or whole army of a country the more important issue is the intention.

Try to acknowledge the fact that India or for that matter Pak army, despite all factors has to answer not only to its parliament but to its people also and hence they cannot behave like terrorists, so do not compare what terrorist do and what are limitations of counter terrorism

It seems to me that you're pretty eager to see yet another standoff between Pakistan and India, and put your hopes on Pakistan biting the dust.
Ain't gonna happen, this is unconfirmed news and we shouldn't make a too big deal out of it, no casualties, let's leave it be untill we hear more.
I'm sure the GoP isn't challenging the GoI during these times over a tiny border skirmish.
