WTH? Who fires near an airport? Dont they check who is bringing what?

This guy doesn't appear to me local "Saraiki" even though he says he is from Bahawalpur. The kind of language and words he uses often give clues of possible "urdu speaking" origin of this guy.

I came to know about this forum in 2019

I think the first time I took this forum seiously was when on 2nd May 2011 US forces killed Osama bin Laden in Abbotabad, I think that was the first day I started following this forum regularly, there were heated debates on this forum about the failure of Pakistan's radar systems to detect American aircrafts that participated in that Abbotabad operation.

Was in Lahore couple of days ago and was wandering security is not as strict as it is in Karachi for Airport and city.
They need to be more strict.

For such incidents, the justice system is to be blamed and need reforms.
Justice delayed is justice denied - this is universal truth. Delay is directly proportional to frustration - Increased frustration level always compelling human beings to take matter in their own hand as they think the law and courts are disabled to provide them justice.
I don't appreciate this attitude but it is there - who know what was inflicted from one party on other party before this incident?

how was the guy carrying a weapon till that area? you cannot bring weapon inside airport vicinity even with a valid license

Because our airport security (and a lot of other security) is a sham. They use garbage FAKE detectors which were imported for some corrupt ahole to make a lot of money on. You may have seen these. Here are some PDF discussions on it as far back as 2010:

i have personally carried a firearm inside Dolmen Mall several times while they scan the car with that jadoo ki charhi lol ... but on the serious side of things it is a very serious security concern
