Fire dancing is our cultural tradition? Did you not hear how it all started?

Chalo at least some of us Pakistanis are keeping our cultural traditions alive. While the rest are increasingly becoming Saudi clones who shake their heads at everything and utter "biddah" at every Pakistani tradition. :disagree:

Culture is the characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, defined by everything from language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music and arts.

It doesn't really matter how it started, although that's also part of tradition. And last time I checked, these people are also Pakistanis. So yes, Pakistani cultural tradition.

why does anything anyone does in Pakistan becomes a freaking issue.
It is Islamic or not, is it our culture or not
how many Islamic things have you done today????

It's a group of 5 "performers", what "performers" do for entertainment does not become culture which is more widespread and part of identity.

If Mullah's performing their antics through loud speakers in every locality has become part of our culture, I can accept fire dancing as cultural tradition too.
