I think upper echelons (we don’t know who exactly) but Bajwa is like figurehead of upper echelon so is ISI chief, judiciary def up there.

The Pakistani elite have all their money in foreign banks, their families are there, their retirement plans are in the West.

This choice between Pakistan and America must be a huge shock for them. They haven’t had time to move their money out.

We hope they’ll chose Pakistan’s interests, but the pressure to submit will be overwhelming. “Get rid of Imran Khan and all will be forgiven.” That’s an easy way out.
