Meh...the new Bangalore airport is far better than the new Hyderabad airport.

Secondly, you have to see what the Mumbai airport becomes after it is remade. Do you know, its being refurbished and new terminals constructed now, but right after commonwealth games, the entire airport will be torn down and a completely new one will be made? One worker there was commenting that what he was building is going to be demolished anyway, so whats the point, lol.

And the Delhi Airport. Look at it after its construction is done. I think MIAL and DIAL will be the only two airports that can match any other airport in any country in size as well as grandeur. And Mumbai will get a second airport as well, right after the new one is completely remade in Navi Mumbai.

There are plans for a second one near Delhi as well. Mayawati wants it, in Greater Noida. But DIAL will be much ahead of the growth curve when it opens just like MIAL unlike new Hyderabad and Bangalore airports, that seem to be adequate for its current passenger load, not future. And to think Bangalore will be an aviation hub in the future...

India is planning to have almost 500 airports (one in almost every district) by 2020 with investments of 40 billion dollars or more. The future belongs to these small airports.

The economic and social upside that they will provide to the nearby areas can be just amazing. e.g. High end tourists have started to come to Hampi (neat Hospet in Karnataka) after the small private airport opened there. Once a town has air connectivity, many possibilities open up.

Who destroyed flourishing civilizations in Afghanistan, Iran and India, indulged in mass genocides, destroyed religious places by the thousands, murdered and raped millions and so on. You in fact make such people your heroes as "But Shikan" par excellence!

I don't see you getting agitated by the 1971 genocide and rapes, more than 10 million refugees, even the sectarian murders in Iraq, Darfur events et al.

How can we see you as anything more than a hypocrite, if you only want to see the faults of others while refusing to look in the mirror just because it shows so ugly a face.
