I visited Multan and Gurdaspur areas of Punjab Pakistan last year with my Friend whose ancestors were quite big landlords in Pakistan before 1947, he also showed there Haveli which is quite big (now around 22 families live there) People still remember all his Ancestors. Also we were treated really well by Former Chief Minister of Punjab forgot his name but quite rich guy, my friend had close ties with them Pretty good Treatment felt really royal. But still have to say Pakistan needs more development, last time airport wasn't this good now it seems to be nice enough.
Plus please tell ISI to keep less vigil on tourists from India, they were quite disturbing during the visit one guy used to keep following us,one armed man used to be always with us plus they used to call every 4 hours :p asking where we were. But, when with the Former CM whose son son is now MLA I think seriously they were quite good people, plus they had a lot security Never seen such security :3 Plus there used to be trucks coming from Afghanistan filled with APPLES AND GUNS everyday No Joke I saw them, there used to be apple crates first then come the guns.
