Okay understood but maybe they want patient to be comfortable? But most probably the didn't have single bed available so they just made use of double bed.

Government should do more brother, it's not enough. Hopefully after this the governments will learn something and prepare better for future pandemics and hopefully the population will understand the concept of social distancing.

nothing can change the mind set of south asian governments. once the pandemic is over the usual corruption will take over. funds will be allocated in budget to counter any such future calamity but slowly those funds will find their way into banks in dubae or UK.

All politicians have kids based in UK, USA or some European haven. I know it's never going to happen but they should make laws to prevent public office holders from moving their families abroad during their tenure. The thing is they know they can get away with their corruption so they keep doing it. Until our public is educated I think this will keep happening.

Brother, feel free to take a piss on your country but don't insult your country on a platform where these outsiders get to enjoy it and have a laugh.... You're inadvertently encouraging the trolls.

And let's be honest the situation in their countries is worse so them pointing out our faults is ironic.

They _are_ planning an ICU on the premises here. And this was built in 21 days. As compared to the hospital built in China in 7 days.

Even the UK/US took more than three weeks to build their makeshift hospitals in London and NYC. Hopefully, like NYC/London, our hospital won't be needed at all, but it is there as a precautionary measure.

For a poor country like ours, this was no small achievement. Private sector (Bashundhara) did it, helped by our armed forces management. I don't think Hasina had any part in it, so she can't really take credit. But she will.

I agree - bad mouthing ourselves is pointless when we see neighboring countries doing far worse in many case.

By the way, Mahindra just came up with their excuse of a ventilator, which is nowhere as professionally made nor as sophisticated compared to any third rate Bangladeshi ventilator. Forget something made by Walton.

And it was ready about a month later to boot. I won't go into it here in detail, for the fact that it will invite the usual trolls.

So again - bad-mouthing our own efforts in any case gives entirely wrong impression.

We must separate the valiant efforts by our private sector against covid-19 as opposed to Hasina's taking credit for them. The two are separate topics.

Well Avicenna Bhai and me ID'd him pretty quickly. No one names themselves in that manner and tries as hard. Dramabazee and Charade are the Sanghi's key skills...

Behaving like a kh**kir chele is also a key skill.

That's a cute Kolkata 'name' and gaali. Love it!

So different when you add 'Pola' instead of 'Chhele'. Changes the whole tone. :P

In Chittagong we have our own rendition of this endearing word. Four actually kh**kir pua/ s*da/ aulaad and foidaish.

I doubt anybody cusses as much as people in Chittagong, goto the villages of sitakundu and get your ears defiled (if you can understand what they're saying of course)

and who will make such laws? the corrupt leaders wont make any law that goes against their own interests. they will never like to shoot in their own feet.
