Indeed, Pakistan is in an awkward situation, It has to choose between two, and I guess it doesn't want to pick and choose sides.

I think it is fare to expect that Turkey's president make a request when a coup is happening in his country. I mean, India also banned/ or asked to leave India. I feel whatever issue happens in Turkey, they should not make other nations as a hostage to this situation as we are not aware about the situation from beginning.
