in my childhood days i many times experimented with crackers . once i removed rocket upper cap(payload faring) and mounted a ATOM BOMB and fired rocket................but my newly developed missile got deviated from its path and landed in our neighbors house....and then our neighbor was shouting at me for nuking their house

(1) Eid-e-Milād-un-Nabī:
is the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and this day is celebrated every year in all over the world with great zeal especially in Pakistan. This occasion comes in Islamic calendar on 12 Rabi ul awal (3rd month in hijri calendar). In this day milad are conducted through out Pakistan and buildings are decorated with beautiful lights.

(2) Chaand Raat: is a day before the Eid and the last night of Ramadan celebrated on 29th or 30th depending on when the new moon is sighted. In the Chaand Raat people go out for shopping in the markets to buy new clothes for Eid. Women's puts mehndi on their hand. People makes Kheers, sawaiya, and other sweet dishes.

(3) EID

(A) Eid ul Fitr: it is the celebration that occurs at the end of the fasting month (Ramadan) and on first shawal (Islamic month). This is celebrated in muslim world including Pakistan.
In Pakistan on the day of Eid al-Fitr, people wear new clothes to get ready for Eid prayer. People are supposed to give obligatory charity on behalf of each of their family member to the needy or poor before Eid day or at least before Eid prayer. This will allow everybody to share the joy of Eid and won’t feel depressed. There is three days national holiday for Eid celebration. There is also a tradition in Pakistan of people sending Eid greeting cards to distant family members, relatives and friends.

(4) Pakistan Flower Show (Jashn-e-Baharaan)

This festival is celebrated through out Pakistan in the spring season. In this festival flowers exhibitions, melas, musical concerts etc are being conducted.

(5) Pakistan Day: Pakistan day or Youm-e-Pakistan is celebrated on 23 March to commemorate the Lahore Resolution. This resolution was passed in 23 march 1940 in Iqbal Park for a purpose to achieve a separate home land for Muslims. Seven years after this resolution Pakistan got its independence.
In this day celebrations regarding the holiday includes a full military and civilian parade in the capital, Islamabad. Wreaths are also laid at the mausoleums of Muhammad Iqbal and Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

(6) Pakistan's Independence Day (Jashan-e-Azadi) (14 August)

14 August is an important date for all Pakistanis because in this day Pakistan got its independence. This important day is celebrated by all Pakistanis with great zeal and enthusiasm.
As the month of August begins, special stalls and shops are set up across the country for the sale of national flags, buntings, banners and posters, pictures of national heroes, and other celebratory items. Vehicles, private buildings, homes, and streets are decorated with the national flag and buntings.
The day begins with special prayers for integrity, solidarity, and development of Pakistan in mosques and religious places across the country. The official festivities take place in Islamabad and commence with the raising of the national flag on the Parliament House and the Presidency followed by a 31-gun salute in the capital and a 21-gun salute in provincial capitals.
The President and Prime Minister of Pakistan address the nation in live telecasts. Government officials and other political leaders deliver speeches during various rallies and events highlighting Pakistani achievements, goals set for the future, and praise the sacrifices and efforts of national heroes.
And in this day TV channels broad cast milli nagmas and programs regarding this independence day.

(7) Defence Day: (6 September)

Celebrated in memory of those who were killed in the Indo-Pak war of 1965 and for the successful defence of Lahore, Sialkot and other important areas of the country from indian invasion.
Different Celebrations in this day includes; Flag hoisting, Parade, Military exhibitions, award ceremonies, singing milli nagmas, entertainment and military programmes, speeches, etc.

(8) Iqbal Day (Youm-e-Wiladat-e-Iqbal) (9 November)

This day is celebrated on 9 November through out Pakistan. On this day a great muslim philosopher, poet, lawyer and politician was born. Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal was among the founding fathers of Pakistan, he motivated Muslims of South Asia to fight for their seperate land. This day is celebrated through out Pakistan.
9 November is a national holiday in Pakistan, seminars and programs are conducted to remember this great personality.

(9) Quaid-e-Azam Day (Birthday of Muhammad Ali Jinnah) (Youm-e-Quaid)

The Pakistani nation celebrates the birth anniversary of founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on December 25 with reverence and solemnity.
The day reminds about the Quaid's historic struggle for a separate homeland for the Muslims of the Sub-continent where every citizen could live according to his faith and dignity. The celebrations takes place both at public and private levels to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation for his heroic struggle for Pakistan.

Chinese Festivals.

1) Chinese Spring Festival (Like Diwali)

Spring Festival, widely known as Chinese New Year in the West, is the most important traditional festival in China and a public holiday.

2) Dragon Boat Festival (like Onam)

Dragon Boat Festival, as known as Duanwu Festival (端午节 Duānwǔ Jié), is a traditional and statutory holiday in China, occurring on the 5th day of the 5th month of China’s lunar calendar.

3) Mid-Autumn Festival

Chinese Moon Festival is traditionally celebrated on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunisolar month, which is in September or October.
The Mid-autumn festival is the second most important festival after the Spring Festival to Chinese people. Every year, when the festival comes people go home from every corner of the country and the world to meet their family and have dinner with them, admire the full moon and eat mooncakes.

4) Chinese Lantern Festival

Lantern Festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the first month of traditional Chinese calendar.

As the first important festival after the traditional Chinese New Year (Spring Festival), it is also the first night to see a full moon, and it marks the end of the two-week New Year holiday period. During Lantern Festival, people get together to celebrate the beginning of spring by watching lanterns, fireworks and eating Yuanxiao (sweet stuffed dumplings made of glutinous rice flour served in soup).
