Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has said the federal government will provide four hundred and fifty billion rupees for hydel power projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of 132 KV Grid station at Doabyan in Swabi district today (Tuesday).
Abid Sher Ali said the government has initiated major hydel power projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir to overcome power crisis in the country.
He said the Prime Minister is paying special attention to hydel power projects to generate cheap electricity.
