Fearing for life, Asia Bibi's lawyer flees Pakistan

No, the court will most probably maintain its verdict but I would say it again then previous two courts should be punished who found her guilty while she was innocent. Because this those judges are not worthy of being judges.
aside from them, keeping in view Islamic principles, Qari Salam should be punished as well
for lying

In shariah, if you blame someone and are not able to prove it, you are declared untruthful and you get punished in direct proportion to the nature of the blame and your witness will never be acceptable in any court of law.

indeed

And the great thing about shariah court is that you don't to file a case separately for the punishment as is the requirement in this crappy system. Rather, it is automatic and done at the same time so if you didn't prove, you would be given the punishment right there... so only the people who have confidence and evidence will go the the court.

yup, and even better is that, the Shairiat court looks at everything in context
for example, lets assume if Asia bibi had done the crime, the court would not blindly give her the punishment rather they would ask her as to why she did it
and again in this case, the others would then be caught as well, for provoking her

It also provides the chance for the actual offender to repent over his or her mistake as well. SO if someone who actually committed it, repents and distances himself from it and promises not to do it, he is forgiven right there. The purpose is not to kill anyone rather provide them with a chance to correct themselves and also restore the order in the society.

Some Muslims are so stubborn that they transgress the boundaries of sharia to the point where they prefer to take law by thenselves. Thats right some fools are willing to put themselves above Sharia.

They are miscreants and should be treated as such. The state must deal with them as rebels. However they should also be given chance to mend their stance and review their beliefs before taking an action against them.

Ridiculous how some call themselves defenders of Islam while at the same time rioting and looting. I hope Pakistan deals with them.

This is how the khawarij are born as the khawarij believe that they can go above Islamic laws.

fair enough, taking security measures to protect your and your family is not considered cowardice .

Indeed, the purpose of an Islamic Court is not to humiliate or to punish, it is to deter, and to make the other person repent

Well, it's purpose is to keep the society clean and adherent to the rules enacted by the Creator. If someone digresses, he or she is given the chance depending on the type and intensity of the crime. For example, a murderer is not given any chance except if the family of the victim forgives him or her.
