There is almost no follow up of these stories, don't know why they are always buried.
Because of in spy war, there is no confirmation policy.

Wow!
so now RAW is responsible for floods in Pakistan?
Next is what? Earthquake? lol
You guys deserve the academy award for best comic role... lol

and again, no such group operates in Pakistan.....any Tom Dick or Harry could print a few newspapers and call it "mass media"
Because of in spy war, there is no confirmation policy.
Obviously JUD exists, operates openly, raises money openly, hold public rallies openly - all this as per your own media too. They also enjoy considerable support from Pakistani population from all available indications. These are facts. Denial won't change it.
while there's little follow up, the initial reports are almost always reported in the newspapers.....whether its Nation or Frontier Post or whatever.
in early 2009, subsequent to mumbai dramas --- several indian spies were arrested (in the city of Lahore)
3 on 29 January 2009 (had fake documents; were tasked with photographing sensitive locations while some important buildings were 'on their list' as per the CCPO - Pervez Rathor
3 arrested on 9th February 2009 --they had maps, pistols, mags, fake documents, and other items of 'interest'
8 Pakistanis were arrested the next day in Rahimyar Khan--suspected of spying for the enemy after intel agencies acquired electronic intercepts
4 Pakistanis arrested on May 19, 2009 -- accused of working for RAW (it was proven that RAW was facilitating their entrance to Amritsar where they met with their handlers)
1 indian national who was acting shady at an Afghan refugee camp @ Muslim-Bagh (Balochistan) was arrested by security agencies on January 8, 2010
2 indian spies were arrested in Chitral on May 14, 2010. They had maps of positions of security forces based in Chitral and Malakand division (around the same time that the insurgency there was in full swing, interestingly enough)
God only knows what they were up to
those are just a few examples........so spare us all the crap because it is not even an open secret anymore --but an open fact -- that while Pakistan has been fighting a full-fledged war against terrorism, hindustan has been stabbing us in the back.
and then they cry over "Pakistani foul-play"
the head of JuD was placed under precautionary house arrest; you numb-skulls couldnt provide sufficient evidence that would justify either
a.) his detention (which despite the lack of evidence, he was still kept under house arrest for quite some time)
b.) the shutting down of JuD (ironically, it was Christian and Hindu community which came to their defence)
c.) BOTH
as for 'considerable support' --- you speak with much conviction! I'm sure if you go to some areas of South Punjab especially, yes they do have areas where they draw support. I wouldnt be surprised if many of PML-N are having activists who openly support and even attend their rallies
speaking of which, JuD has been under the radar screen. They are not doing any rallies or any of that. But it's obvious that JuD has been a thorn in india's side; especially when they give speeches pertaining to (occupied) Kashmir.
Fact of the matter is, however, that you'll never really see Pakistanis beckoning for them or cheering them. You also have to understand the psyche of HS. I'm not being apologetic for him or his actions, but he suffered a lot during partition -- many members of his family were wiped out by radical hindus during the journey from Shimla to Lahore. I think this always had lasting impression on him and that's why he's always been very vocal about his anti-india views.
His jihadi tendencies were more apparent during the anti-soviet Jihad, when he teamed up with Abdullah Azzam and gang. However he was not alone in that.
looking to today, public rallies and things like that do not constitute a crime......how many times has bal thakeray been arrested for his anti-Islam and anti-Pakistan vitriol?
as usual, indians wanting Pakistan to be a push-over by illegally detaining people sans proof.
Manawan -- question mark. But i cant even speculate on it.
Attack at Liberty --without a shadow of a doubt it was an indian job. The indians were still licking their wounds from mumbai and quite upset; they were livid that Sri Lankans opted to travel to Pakistan to play a friendly game of cricket
they were equally furious at the fact that pilots dispatched by Pakistan Air Force were either actively particpating in some of the ground attack missions against tamil tiger terrorist positions as well as assisting in instructional roles; not to mention the fact that we were providing huge shipments of arms (primarily small arms, small arms ammunition, RPGs, grenades and mortars) to the Sri Lankan Armed Forces.
indian stooped so low as to warn and arm-twist Sri Lankans into not cooperating with Pakistan or even playing cricket.....crying to the world to stop arming the evil Pakistanis.
that is why india opted to teach them a lesson --when Sri Lankans gave indians the finger; secondary objective was to try to isolate Pakistan as a host for sports events (which actually, the indians did succeed in that regard)....kill 2 birds with one stone.
no group in Pakistan or Afghanistan --- whether its Al Qaeda or Al Qaeda sympathetic; or whether its taleban (Afghanistan or Pakistan chapter) would bother attacking a visiting cricket team. Especially a country like Sri Lanka with whom they have no agenda whatsoever.
Why don't you enlighten us with your understanding and prove that RAW is responsible for floods (lol) in Pakistan! Or you can accept the award for the comic role!Above cases are far from your understanding,
academy award should be given to your fake media which is biggest YELLOW JOURNALISM in the world.
Some time you couldn't trust on things which are beyond your senses.
I did not even mention Hafeez Saeed or complain about his statements, how do they bother us - one more bearded jihadi spitting venom in Pakistan, big deal!
And there's no hope of convicting him at all, please, lahore high court is a very strong institution.
You could not convict Malik Ishaq, and you want India to investigate and provide proof on HS who operates in Pakistan!!!
Pakistan is a unique country where banned terrorist organisations raise money in mainstream newspapers and openly hold rallies and its not a crime.
Pakistan needs to rewrite the meaning of ''banned'' as understood by other sovereign nations!
Until that project is completed, do lap up these ''news'' reports!
wow !! what a story ..
