I have never blamed Imran for picking 'the electables'. Unfortunately, it is the 'Bridary System' in Pakistan in most parts. Some people, like the Urdu Speakers of Sindh, vote across ethnic lines, but most don't.
But the reasons for Imran's rapid and spectacular downfall are not 'The Lotas'. It is Imran himself.

Expat Pakistanis are often the worst. Wishing destruction in Pakistan based on grandiose ideas which never take roots in the Subcontinent. They sit in comfort in Western countries, coming up with grand ideas. There was NEVER going to be a revolution or Haqeeqi Azadi through PTI. Look at who sits on top in that party and look at who switched loyalties to join that party? Does it look like a bunch of revolutionaries??

Mine and the hopes of millions was that PTI would be another party led by Pakistan's version of Erdogan: Efficient, cleaner governance after decades of misrule. But that didn't happen. Even that didn't happen.

The path forward for Pakistan is ten-years of stability under a government of Technocrats. Pakistan is in serious problems right now. The old ways will not work anymore. No more conflicts. No more talk of revolutions. Ten years. Pakistan can still turn around. I have faith.

No government can work in PK unless the establishment doesnt mend its ways.

With all due respect, this isn’t Zia’s Pakistan but GHQ since 1947 or 1950 depending on your perspective. This behavior didn’t begin with Zia. He was a product from a long line western backed and installed puppets who used corruption and deceit ways to rule over all of us.

Important to note though, all those who came to PTI around 2013-2017 are those who are quitting. Shireen, Faad, Asad etc.

The young lot which was with PTI since the start and came from the grassroot level, Farrukh Habib, Usman Dar, Ali Zaidi, Murad Saeed, Tarakai brothers, Asad Qaiser, the Abbasi guy from Pindi, Ali Nawaz Awan, Qasim Suri etc. are still hanging.
