So its almost 8500 without cng ... we are paying 10000 dollars without any features ... that means not even AC ... with AC it will around 11K and company fitted cng kits are not in pakistan

Here no car is sold without AC from company and very soon govt. making compulsory of safety features like ABS and airbags compulsory.
Also note here EURO 4 emission which also adds to cost, to control emissions

You need 7000usd if you want to buy a mehran in Pakistan. I am not lying to you, Ask anyone else here.
The minimum a used one will be around 5000usd if you are lucky.

I don't like Auto Transmission.

Its how the market is evolving. Every single car in India starting from Alto will have automatic options from next year.
And in a couple of years - 2020 onwards, 25% of all cars sold in the market will be automatic.

Give it another couple of years and it might even touch 50%. Now that Maruti and Hyundai have made auto so cheap, People are adapting to auto like fish to water!

Being crappy is a subjective thing, different people tend to have different liking and disliking... In few months or so it can be judged it is well received here or not a success.

BRV tanked big time in Indian market. Hardly anyone bought it.
Maruti Vitara, Ford Ecosport, Renault Duster and Hyundai Creta were runaway successes.

In Pakistan, the Celerio has been launched as the Suzuki Cultus and has been priced at around INR 800,000. So you see, they are really crappy here. But the thing is that, the people are not stupid. The Celerio (cultus), at least in my view, has not sold well here, and all other cars that Suzuki didn't price correctly got rejected.

They are the market leaders by volume but only because their 800cc Mehran is the cheapest car in the market, and now that is also being hammered by 660cc Japanese kei car imports.

Damn! That's just unacceptably expensive. I dunno what is Suzuki's long term business plan for Pakistan. In India they have been giving great tech and lowest prices compared to other's which is why they have highest market share in many segments.

As I said, they are the ones who are pushing automatic in India. They introduced AMG gears because full auto gears were expensive and gave lower mileage. They're trying to convert the entire market to auto now.

Perhaps your Government should reduce taxes to incentivise producers to reduce prices and/or improve quality. Suzuki will lose market share if they don't innovate. Pakistan is a large market.

Chinese car sound much better at least on the paper especially with more modern engine due to the electronic fuel injection system, larger capacity and more valves for a smoother power. But since I didn't drive any of them, I can't comment on their performance and quality.

I havent driven but i have seen it and know a guy who owns it he says its way better than anything in the similar price range

It is probably the much smaller market in Pakistan and limited choice which is allowing Pak Suzuki to maintain a much higher price level and limit innovation. India has a larger market and so they have economies of scale to drive down their costs.

The current govt has launched an incentive scheme aimed at new players, which has caught the interest of a number of automakers. At the same time, Pak Suzuki is getting hammered by imports from Japan. Actually Pak Suzuki tried very hard to black mail the govt into extending the same incentives to them, but the govt has resisted the pressure according to the public information.

In the end, things will only improve once the economy grows and there is a large enough market to ensure competition from a number of players.

I reviewed both with team to see feasibility of it's purchase and it was not good enough, quality vs price, if sold in price of Mehran VXR then it's good.
