his story is very touching! It definitely puts things in perspective for us all! A reminder to us all to not give up, keep the Faith, and continue to rely on God’s strength in all circumstances…!

One day, a son said to his father, “Dad, would you like to run a marathon withme?” and the father replied “yes.”




They ran theirfirst marathon together.



Another day, the son said to the father, “Dad, would you run the Ironman with me?"










The ironman is a triathlon the most enduring that exists of 4km swim, 180km bicycle ride, and 42 km run. And the father answered, “Yes.”

This was a really touching story made my eyes wet, just wanna say respect ur parents, i don't think any son would do this for his dad.

Well when i was not a father myself, had very less understanding of this kind of love, but since became a father, now I know what this love is and what it can make people do for this love.

Hi,

You tore me up kiddo---my older sister had lost her eye sight by her 8th year due to a head injury---by age 12 possibly lost her senses due to no eye sight---became a cripple----my father had to carry her everywhere she went with us. In the car or out of the car---onto the train or out of the train---into a wheel chair.

People in pakistan would start flocking around as if it was a freak show---anywhere and everywhere---just to get her out of the train and into the wheel chair would gather a crowd of hundreds of onlookers on the station---.

She had also lost her speech as well and could not say anything---except to make some sounds to get attention---sometimes young kids would shout out crazy girl " pagal oye pagal oye '---what my father went through, I don't recall---but it must have torn him to pieces by hearing those words about his beautiful daughter---never did I ever hear him complain---I was in my early teens when she passed away I believe in 1970---.

So, when I see this video, it brings back memories buried deep in the back of my mind.

I bow my head down to all the fathers and mothers and brothers and sisters who take care of their disabled siblings with pride, honor and dignity--God bless you all and give you more strength.

I realize it now what he went through his life to make sure his kids got everything he didnt had when he was a kid. Loosing his father at such a young age, started working at the age of 13, supporting his siblings/mother and than raising us. Not once do i ever remember him bringing his work related problems home.

It is a metaphor though. Nevertheless, parents are the ones to stand up for their children.

My god, this really did put tears in my eyes. In fact, i just feel like seeing my father right now, because i know that he would do the same for me and I just to tell him how much i love him and appreciate it that he is a part of my life. It really makes me feel for the kids who have to grow up without a parent.

And I would just like to remind some members here, members who keep calling for war or preach violence, that violence robs people of fathers like this. fathers who love us and makes us better people. so please, keep that in mind before you talk of war the next time.
