Family Of Martyr Invited As Royal Guests
PESHAWAR, Oct 18: The family of a man from Swat, who sacrificed his life while trying to save people from flash floods in Jeddah Saudi Arabia, has been invited by the royal family of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj as royal guests.
Farman Ali, 32 and a resident of Khwazakhela, District Swat embraced martyrdom last year while saving the lives of fifteen people when torrential rains and flash floods hit parts of Jeddah on November 25, 2009.
Atleast 120 people were killed in the floods. He went to Saudi Arabia in 2002 to earn his livelihood after doing his FSc from Matta Degree College Swat.
Farman Ali was taken away by callous flood waves while he jumped in to water to save the people. In view of the exemplary valor displayed by the brave man from Swat, the royal family of Saudi Arabia has rewarded the family of the shaheed and invited them to perform Hajj and be their guests.
