What's new

False ceilings at Islamabad International Airport fall during downpour

It points to bad storm water disposal planning, failure of civil structural planning....whether the picture is 7 year old or not doesn't makes any difference.
No. If it was an issue every year then your argument holds some water. Keep Googling.

When it rains cats and dogs...

BTW we all know about the falling and crumbling flyovers in Mumbai, the bursting dams, the leakages in Indian nuclear power plants, how many gets killed in Mumbai everyday just on train tracks...buildings falling in rains, roads crumbling and what not.

And what is the standard of infrastructure in India and the level of corruption.

Pakistan is better in standard of infrastructure construction quality. India is about quantity...I can post dozens of links here.

How hard is it to build a gutter?

Give me $100,000 cash & I’ll make a gutter for the whole airport in four months.

No more pani/poop flooding in the Capital City’s International Airport just for $100,000. Sounds like a deal!

Mumbai and Delhi are two 4 star rated airports. Says it all. At the rate of your thinking level, North Korea has better Nuclear safety, better roads, better infra safety, train tracks etc... than India. The key point for all that is not trying.

Pakistani airport stands = British quality!
Ceiling tiles in Pakistani airport designed for airconditioning not to withstand any form of water pouring down during a storm for any possible reason from design to material failure drop from the weight of water = Chinese quality!

Ah India. The nation that can live with water shortages in one half of the country and floods devastating poor infrastructure in the other as long as they have a working budget phone to point fingers at others for the dumbest possible reasons.

Was this a Fauji Foundation initiative?
We need to keep an eye on our SKS.
I really do not like the military entangling itself in profitable ventures.
Some will get defensive and say "hey these organisations are run by retired officers.".
When their is lure for money, it also affects the decision-making of serving officers nearing retirement.
FWO was joint partner in development of this project
