Fake News: Indian Army carried out air raid inside Pakistan today

But the question is that why they needed to refute the fake news if it was glorifying them?

I think that phat k haath me agayi hogi in k k kahin fake news p real retaliation na hojaye
An unlikely scenario but I want to state it anyway....let's play a devil's advocate here.
They caught us with our pants down again, and hit few places, but denying it so we won't retaliate, and we won't retaliate for something indians say they never did, but actually happened. They achieved their objectives, and we lost. Guess who comes out on top?...... Not us. They hit us, and we didn't do anything....
The above scenario presumes that there was an actual indian strike. If just indian bluster, then we came out on top because deterrence worked.

Indian army rubbishes reports of ‘pinpoint strikes’ in Azad Kashmir
Lt Gen Paramjit Singh while referring to Indian media reports of military action across LoC terms them ‘fake’

A senior Indian military officer has clarified that media reports claiming its army is carrying out “pinpoint strikes” inside Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) are “fake”.
The Press Trust of India (PTI) while quoting sources said intelligence-based targeted strikes are being conducted by the Indian army to neutralise mostly “Pakistani and foreign terrorists, and the collateral damage has been very negligible in these operations”.
The reports of Indian army's action in AJK across the Line of Control (LoC) are fake, ANI quoted Military Operations DG Lt Gen Paramjit Singh as saying.

Last week, Pakistan had presented "irrefutable evidence" of India's sponsorship of terrorism in the country and called on the international community to take notice.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and chief military’s spokesperson Major General Babar Iftikhar, in a joint media conference, had categorically stated that India was sabotaging the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and is supporting terrorism in Pakistan.
The country's top diplomat and the military spokesperson had also presented a dossier detailing India's involvement in terror attacks in Pakistan during the media conference. Multiple video clips

and audio clips, along with documents, were presented during the media conference of Indian handlers and terrorists communicating with each other and Indian intelligence handlers passing on instructions to terrorists in Pakistan.
Earlier in the day, Pakistan strongly condemned the extra-judicial killing of four more innocent Kashmiri youth in a fake encounter in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir by occupation forces.
During the last one year, Indian occupation forces have martyred more than three hundred innocent Kashmiris including women and children, in fake encounters and so-called "cordon and search" operations in complete violation of the international humanitarian laws.
Pakistan has been warning the international community since last year about India government’s intention to launch a false flag operation against it in a bid to divert the world’s attention from its illegal action of revoking the IIOJK’s autonomy and human rights violations being committed by occupation forces in the disputed Himalayan territory.

This time their naming hopefully would be OK - not Shahzaz-ud-din type!!! However, thanks to the Chinese "Microwave Weapons", how much of their brains remain un-fried needs to be seen....

Hey mate, are there any laws against publishing/broadcasting false news in India. You can't label these under freedom of expression.

Coincidentally there is a case running in the Supreme Court about a Hindi news channel called Sudarshan TV which had run a series on "UPSC Jihad" which is a supposed foreign-funded conspiracy by Indian Muslims to infiltrate the various administrative organs of India ( police, civil bureaucracy etc ) by mass-sitting for the UPSC exams so that they are able to weaken the Indian administration from the inside.

This article speaks about the court's opinion :
The Supreme Court on Thursday gave parties in a case against Sudarshan TV two weeks to respond to a Ministry of Information and Broadcasting order of November 4, which held that the channel’s ‘Bindas Bol - UPSC Jihad’ programme is “not in good taste, offensive and has the likelihood of promoting communal attitudes”.

‘Bindas Bol’ accuses Muslims of “infiltrating” the civil services with the help of funding from terror-linked organisations abroad.

A Bench led by Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, in a short hearing, acknowledged the filing of the government affidavit, to which the November 4 order was annexed.

The Ministry order does not expressly stop the channel from telecasting further episodes. But it insists that the channel should suitably moderate and modify the programme’s audio and visual content to be in tune with the Programme Code.

“While freedom of expression is a fundamental right, the tone and tenor of the episodes telecast do indicate that the channel has through the various utterances and audio visual content breached the Programme Code”, the order said.

The Ministry “cautions” the channel to be “careful” ahead and promises “stricter penal action” in case of further violations.

Series of directions

The Ministry gave a series of directions for future telecast, including that the content aired should not offend good taste or decency.

The channel was asked to avoid “attacks on religions or communities or visuals or words contemptuous of religious groups or which promotes communal attitudes”.

The Ministry said programmes should not contain “anything obscene, defamatory, deliberate, false and suggestive innuendos and half-truths”. Neither should it invite violence or promote “anti-national attitudes”.

The order asked the channel to comply and report back to the Ministry before the telecast.

The court had stayed the further telecast of the programme episodes on September 15. Four episodes have already been telecast by the time the court issued the injunction.

I didn't know about this channel but it is now clear it is a Hindutva-leaning channel like Arnab's Republic TV. Also, ideally the Supreme Court should have banned this channel.

I think alot of this problem of hatred and extremism can be handled if media houses are made accountable for publishing/broadcasting fake news.

There had been another "Fake Surgical Strike" on Pakistan, according to some Indian media.
The DGMO of Indian army denied that any strike had taken out by the IA.

Army says reacting to report of ‘pinpoint’ strikes in Azad Kashmir
“Reports of Indian Army’s action in Azad Kashmir (Azad Kashmir) across the Line of Control are fake,” Indian Army Director General of Military Operations Lt Gen Paramjit Singh said.

The Indian Army on Thursday refuted reports of carrying out strikes on suspected terror launchpads inside Azad Kashmir. “Reports of Indian Army’s action in Azad Kashmir (Azad Kashmir) across the Line of Control are fake,” Indian Army Director General of Military Operations Lt Gen Paramjit Singh said. There has been no firing across LoC, the Army has clarified after a news agency report said Army has launched “pinpoint strikes” inside Pakistan-occupied- Kashmir.

Security forces on Thursday gunned down four terrorists in an encounter on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway near Nagrota in Jammu.

Reports of Indian Army's action in Azad Kashmir (Azad Kashmir) across the Line of Control are fake: Indian Army Director General of Military Operations Lt Gen Paramjit Singh

The specific report of “pinpoint strikes” came just a week after five security personnel and four civilians were killed in Pakistani aggression at several locations — Uri, Nowgam, Keran and Gurez sectors in North Kashmir — across the Line of Control. Indian Army retaliated strongly and caused substantial damage to several launch pads.

The report that the Army is carrying out strikes in Azad Kashmir come in this backdrop amid claims that Pakistani military is pushing a maximum number of terrorists to India before the onset of winters. The report has been based on analysis of the ceasefire violations that took place on November 13, the Army has clarified.

According to official data, 21 innocent civilians have lost their lives in Pakistani firing compared to 18 in the whole of 2019. This year eight infiltration bids were foiled and 14 terrorists have been neutralised along the LoC, according to official data.

It seems now even Indian army understand that fakery of "Surgical Strikes" is not going to work after the debacle of 26 Feb 2019. After which India became a laughing stock in the world. The world would ask for proofs.

. . .
I remember that 'pinpoint' strike last year in Feb, when the bombs landed half a mile away from the targets.

And gave us a fully intact SPICE to reverse engineer, since it was not fired but in fact jettisoned by Mirages running away in panic. Or the weapon was shit. Who knows.
