Yes, India is developing, but as one of your thread stated, "A long way

to go"

You probably know more than me the dark side behind all those

so-called "India Miracle, Shinning India, Incredible India"

Don't like people mention your sanitation problem ? why, its a direct

result related to your so-called "India Miracle" no need to get

frustrated if its true, debunk it if its wrong, simple solution, No ?

Prices are rising in India – pushed up by the high cost of food. Thanks partly to a disastrous government policy of encouraging the over-use of chemical fertilizer, food prices are shooting up. In a poor country, food is a bigger part of the family budget than in a rich country. India’s CPI is rising at about 11%.

Flash from the TIMES of India:

A man brought his wife to Mumbai from Augangabad. He then took her to the house of someone she didn’t know and told her to wait there for him to come back. But he didn’t return. The wife asked the owner of the house what was going on. She was informed that she had been sold to the man for 40,000 rupees (a bit less than $1,000). Her family back in Augangabad came to her rescue. They bought her back.

A thousand dollars seems like a lot of money to pay for a wife. Especially when you consider all the expenses that come later. Food, shelter, transportation, Gucci, BMW, and so forth…

Goldman's Jim O'Neill, who coined "BRIC", has said that when he ranked countries by the potential risks to their growth — everything from inflation to corruption — India ranked 97th in the world, behind Brazil and the Philippines. London-based Maplecroft terror risk index based on 2009 data ranks Iraq first, Afghanistan second, with Pakistan and Somalia third and fourth respectively. They are rated at extreme risk along with Lebanon 5, India 6, Algeria 7, Colombia 8 and Thailand 9, according to Reuters.

Iraq has top terror risk, India sixth - ranking | Top News | Reuters

These ranking seem to be of any conseqence but must appreciate Pakistan's contribution in making India so risky to terror attacks. Thank you.

We don't want comparing with China also. We have our own identity.
Since the thread title is BRIC i said ok. I did not jump with Joy.

He is not talking about growth of Pakistan.

More importantly, Pakistan is not claiming to be any of what India is claiming to be. You pointed out the junk rated Pakistani bonds. That is completely irrelevant as Pakistan is not claiming to be what India is.

well that is because we are /or going to be what we claim....we have a vision for our country,s future...........

am sure pakistan is not claiming anything because.......you dont care and you are not in a position to claim anything........the only thing you guys say is "non state actors are responsible !!!!!!!not us " or "we will bomb you"...nothing positive ........

Cut the trolling. Talk about it when you get there. How the world will be in 20 or 40 years is a wild prediction. The predictions almost never come true. The point is what India is CURRENTLY claiming to be.

Kindly post here exactly which claim you are talking about. Without the proper context, this thread will go into the dumps.
