Now all the hypocrites who vehemently called for the take-down of the "Everybody draw Mohammed-Day" Facebook page (a harmless if "insulting" endeavor) are of course outraged and want this one calling for violence reinstated...

Oh and it is a conspiracy.. of course Everything you don't like/disagree with seems to be Zionist conspiracy.

You can't organize or call for violence via Facebook groups.
That goes for everyone. Face it.

If such groups, no matter who is the target get big enough to draw Facebook Admin attention, they will be pulled.

Then, after the Israelis were rejected, the page received a lot of posts advocating violence.

Btw, you still have not addressed the relevant point which is that the pro-violence posts only showed up after Israel was rebuffed by Facebook since, up to that point, none of the 240000 supporters had advocated violence.

You have no idea about India's support for the Palestinian cause. FYI India initiated diplomatic relations with Israel only after the Camp David summit between Arafat, Rabin and Clinton. Arafat had no problem with India building relations with Israel.

Atleast Indians dont show phony support for the Palestinians. None of our Military generals ever participated in putting down the Palestinians, unlike Zia-Ul-Haq who slaughtered fellow Palestinian Muslims and earned medals from King of Jordan for his service! Zia is responsible for the religious fundamentalism of the major parts of Pakistan's civil, military and government machinery we so abhor today.

Since their is no way for you to prove that and no way for me to check if that is true (or do you have reliable sources?), I don't think I have to accept that as a 'fact'.

I suspect they let loose their intenet goons to deliberately sabotage the page by adding posts advocating violence, so the page could be pulled down. Oldest trick in the book...

The page, which calls for an uprising in the occupied Palestinian territory in May, has more than 240,000 members.

“As Facebook’s C.E.O. and founder, you are obviously aware of the site’s great potential to rally the masses around good causes, and we are all thankful for that,” Mr. Edelstein wrote. “However, such potential comes hand in hand with the ability to cause great harm, such as in the case of the wild incitement displayed on the above-mentioned page.”

Facebook has, so far, not removed the page. The administrators are not advocating violence, and therefore, it falls within the company’s definition of acceptable speech, company officials said.
