This is emotional ranting. American "loss" in Afghanistan was everything except a military defeat. Militarily, US forces did not lose. While US hard power is not fungible, and hence it can not achieve the desired outcomes on its own in every case (Afghanistan/Vietnam, for example), it is still unbeatable on the battlefield nevertheless. 1. F-22A Raptor was/is the most expensive jet fighter ever produced. When Cold War concluded with split of USSR, Americans decided not to mass produce this jet fighter.

2. F-35 program was launched to make 5th generation technologies affordable by virtue of mass collaboration and production.

3. F-22A Raptor will be replaced by NGAF in 2030s. Americans have already tested a prototype but relevant information is classified.

This war was about Al-Qaeda Network in large part which is done and dusted. Afghan Taliban were ousted from power but not declared terrorists.

Afghan Taliban are not equipped to fight US-led forces out in the open. Whenever clashes of the sort occurred, Afghan Taliban suffered heavy losses and had to retreat. Afghan Taliban adopted asymmetric tactics to challenge US-led forces instead.

USA does not have direct access to Afghanistan but through Pakistan. Pakistan could influence course of this war and is to be credited for saving Afghan Taliban. You are giving too much credit to Afghan Taliban instead. Give credit to Khan administration for showing Americans the door.

Is Afghanistan even worth boasting about either way? A mere husk which is trampled by others time and again. A country which is able to defeat enemy at the gates or on the borders - this is worth boasting.

in actual combat this can be accomplished with cooperative target engagement. In simulated combat, persistent target lock is considered a kill and virtual munitions regenerate.
