The Russians are smart - you paid them 400 million for a used Aircraft carrier that they magically converted into over 2 billion.
It not likely to happen....The price has been fixed at $2.5b after series of negotiations...It will be stupid of Russia and even more Stupid for GOI to pay a single penny more than that...As far as MMRCA is concerned its definitely not going Russia way and they have already bagged as a defence partner for a decade(2020)....It is 2.5 b$ and counting... We never know with Russians how much they will raise the price when they will not get MMRCA.
Ummm..do not this happening either...I really hope UK approves selling its carrier to India - that should be be a good one.

According to Yantar JSC, the construction of three ships is being carried out within the contract between India and Russia signed on 14 July 2007.
The cost of the contract is about 1,6 Billion USD. Note that this figure is very different from that in the preceding paprgraph.
