F-22: America’s Big Broken Toy

You can't blame him, the frustration builds up and finally has to be let out.
Actually, the frustration seems to be coming from you guys: Frustrated that the US is constantly ahead, pushing the limits where others have barely reached the halfway point, forcing adversaries to resort to their Photochop brigades to make themselves feel better. How else can we explain these baseless criticisms?

It is like having a Ferrari that is forever parked in the garage.
The F-22 will swallow up the J-20 and sh!t out two J-10s.

Actually, we have to wonder who really has 'that time of the month' considering the frequency these threads hyping the F-22's technical issues seems to crop up...

Sure do that on the ground

. . .
This appears to be a motivated grudge article. Every complex piece of machinery has problems and the Raptor is one the most complex machines ever built. Problems will crop up, they will be resolved. The Raptor is miles ahead of the competition and will remain so in the foreseeable future.

. . .
Okay lets burry the F-22 planes for good cuz they are life threatning the American pilots.:smokin:

In July 2009, the Air Force reported that the F-22 requires more than 30 hours of maintenance for every flight hour, with the total cost per flight hour of $44,000.[197] The Office of the Secretary of Defense puts that figure at 34 hours of maintenance per flight hour at a cost of $49,808.[197] The F-22 also reportedly encountered a critical failure every 1.7 hours.[N 4] The F-22 had required maintenance every 0.97 flight hours in 2004. This improved to 3.22 flight hours per maintenance event in production Lot 6 aircraft.[196] Each Raptor requires a month-long packaged maintenance plan (PMP) after every 300 flight hours.[202] The aircraft's radar-absorbing metallic skin is a principal cause of maintenance – skin repairs account for more than half of all maintenance.[197] Another source of maintenance problems is that many components require custom hand-fitting and are not interchangeable.[197] The canopy visibility degrades more rapidly than expected, and, instead of the required 800 hours, refurbishments are at 331 flight hours on average [197] [ Wiki ]
Well if it requires 30 hours of maintenance per every single flight hour , the war will already be over by the time it flies again :P

lol. everything america does these days, its all falling apart.
just like their economy and their empire.

. .
you mean bi-weekly don't you? ;)

no one can beat the rate of bankrupcies of businesses in the US and the defence cuts every week.
not to mention the rate of debt accumulation in the US.

u know an empire is crumbling when it has to go into debt to keep the empire alive.
its just a matter of time before the US empire falls.
