Suicide is an act of desperation.

The Japanese pilots started this desperate bid to destroy USN aircraft carriers after the USN decimated the Imperial Japanese Navy, it was a truly desperate effort and yielded minimum damage.

No doubt they were brave men, however the victor shoots down his opponent...not himself.

Anyone knows what this maneuver is and why the hell the pilot did it so close to the ground. He literally was coming to a stop in mid air.

I dont know the name, but I would call it a cobra manuvere.

MKIs and flankers can do this better. Seen on Youtube and probably in some thread related to flankers.

Its not Cobra maneuver, that is something else.

This one was like going from 5th gear to 1st gear and then again back to 5th gear.

PAF pilots have gone up against indian, israeli, russian and afghan pilots in the past which is not too bad. how many airforces (after WW2) can boast of such - having said that IDFAF have gone up against most arab airforces like egypt, jordan, syria and iraq.

It's called clover leaf maneuver, all credit to PAF for performing such stunts in a single engine aircraft over the capital.
