Local people already showed their allegiance with the state of Pakistan when they decided to leave their everything behind so that the Army can finish up their operation against the Taliban.
It's a pity that our media doesn't emphasize on the hundreds and thousands of refugee's who've been effected by this war and have given their sacrifices for our better tomorrow. If those hundreds and thousands of people didn't accept the Taliban ideology, then it's quite evident that the Taliban aren't welcome in their region. They never supported them and they still don't.
The only flaw here is that they should be standing proud behind Pakistan Army's military muscle, instead of standing scared behind the Taliban's weaponry.
With all due respect my friend when i read life has returned to normal in SWAT i wonder if it isuch a ghost town filled with TALIBANS who is out shopping who is out and about.....and why was it so hard to distingusih between the locals and taliban if everyone is a taliban the army should shoot at sight.....or give an ultimatium to the locals to evacuate....
