Following a religion is not bad, it should simply not effect how others want their life to be.. these kind of incidents are bound to happen when some people try the more exaggerated version of Islam. I don't see why some people here talk as if they are some kinda crusaders and think xenophobes are only in other countries

Since you insist on bringing in Islamic countries, why not look at what happens to Christian pastors in India?

Indians dont have any problem if some one is giving bibles to propagate Christianity..the problem rises when the chrisitian pastors start abusing hinduism or saying in public all hindus will go to hell..

Infact My father was given a bible as a gift..though we are hindus..he kept the book securely in our house along with Hindu religious books...His opinion was even though we dont follow whats said in bible ..it is still a holy book and has to respected as any other Hindu religious book..

I can tell, u can find millions and millions of Indians sharing the same opinion..

1. This is Germany we are talking about, they have something called freedom of speech enshrined in law. Giving out free Quran's is protected by law.
Comparing this to another country is like saying "But in South Africa I can rape and not go to Jail, why can't i do it in Germany?"

2. most Islamic countries actually host many missionary groups from Europe who do indeed hand out free bibles.

The first part was a sort of an answer to your post, and the second part was actually a question - because I never visited an Islamic country to know what will actually happen to people who for e.g. distribute bibles or other Christian literature on the streets of an Islamic Country.

About those people talking about bible,we are given a copy every year at christmas when we[our family] went to visit the church
