Valentines day is not a muslim function. Allah and his prophet (PBUH) have selected Eid ul Fitr and Eid u Adha as two occasions for muslims to celebrate. That is it. you like it or not, it makes no difference. It is very sad indeed that certain posters on this forum prefer a non-Islamic function over prayers. And we had a thread that the new generation will do better than the old. This generation of liberal fascists is causing more damage to the Islam than the non-believers.

I am ashamed to myself and to my Allah that I dont say my prayers regularly, but it doesn't mean that I should start laughing at others who manage to perform this most important Islamic ritual.

Pretending prayers? You are Allah naozubillah who knows whether they were pretending or not? Or Richard Hallbrook or Mullen had told you that they were pretending? what the hell is going on here? May I ask you why are you against MQM, plus have you seen the news on TV today about the six betullah mahsood's associates captured from Manghopir area. They all came from waziristan and its easy to mix with the local Pashtun population and it does not mean that all the pashtuns are Talibans.

Here we are defending those who sing and dance at the time of prayers. Neither they want to follow Allah's orders, nor they let the remaining few devout muslims follow thier duty.

It's your mentality that insists you to make such an assumption. I've also given the example of a student but you picked the patient's example. It's your choice and depends on the mentality. The main thing I was discussing in that post was “concentration”. As far as the matter of Islam and disease is concerned, yes there is a fact! Cure for all spiritual diseases is hidden in Islam.

lol at your last stmt!! What a healthy way, when you are disturbing others by playing loud music. Islam teaches us patience and tolerance but also teaches us manners, mutual respect and orders us not to do actions which annoy our fellow brothers. Islam also says us to keep quiet when it's Adhan time. Islam also orders us to stop all our activities and offer prayer on time. What about these obligations?

Why do you not say, People who were enjoying the party in a “healthy way”, should respect the prayer time. They should stop the activities when it was prayer time. Isha prayer requires only 25-30 min. They didn't do that because their priority was their party not Prayer. May Allah show us the right path and make our prayers our preference, Ameen!

Well well excellent example now i am convinced.

Brother, we are all ordinary human beings. We would definitely be distrubed when there is loud music playing near to us.It would really annoy us especially when we've to concentrate on our work. This is not possible for a common person but possible for special people of Allah. Tell me honestly, would you be able to offer prayer when loud music is being played in your neighborhood ?Concentration itself demands the environment which paves the way to make it possible

No i cannot concentrate on my prayers when there is loud noise near me but i also dont have sticks and stones ready to go and attack others to force them to stop there activities no matter how much i am botherd by it.

Agreed but unfortunatly most people will help MQM as they dont want friendly Taliban near them.
Problem is simple people cant tell the diffrence between afghans and pakistani pashtunes its the GOP job to deport afghans so our pakistani brothers dont pay for some one else.And continue to make a living working in any part of pakistan as its there right pakistan is as much there country as its ours.
