What's new

Export stands out in turbulent year

Wow!

Democracy is pre-requisite for prosperity.

So why is democratic India piss poor and autocratic China roaring ahead?

Selectively quoting doesn’t make you intelligent. Just a bum who can cut and paste!

You are so typical of the Hizb idiots!!!

I dont know dude go ask Amartya Sen, nobel laureate and from Dhaka by origin and I suppose another Hizb idiot and quoted directly from article you posted!!!! Lol

My comment and position is BD needs democracy to prosper, so not out of context.

Want to argue with your own gibberish is pricelessly hilarious.

List of your idiotic cut and paste is mounting up!!

You also claimed there was a link between rule of law and democracy 😂😂🤣🤣

Took me five seconds to debunk that theory!

The fact that you type these nonsense, without context, shows you for a low intellect buffoon that you are.

That’s the difference between elite education and Hizb brainwashing 😂😂😂😂👏👏🍌🍌

I am telling you what very few will tell you. I am writing this from the Dhaka club at this moment just gone past midnight. BAL, BNP, JP and Jammat leadership is here drinking and playing snooker together. There is very little between them politically and all are connected. But BAL staying in power illigimately is doing great harm. I know you think it is not, but really is. Everyone wants stability, smooth rotating transition of power is the true way to establish that. BAL leadership is fully aware of this and transition planning is well underway.

Radwan is fully engaged with Tariq. A deal is in the offing.

Why would Hasina make a deal with BNP at all?

BNP has failed to muster more than some 10s of thousands to the streets of Dhaka. That is frankly pathetic in a city of over 20 million and a country of 165 million!

There is no threat to the rule of BAL as the economy has held through these turbulent economic times and the BA is firmly behind them.

I think your analysis is from your wish rather than objective reality.

The only thing he seems to know anything about is economics.

Once he strays out of this area and starts talking about politics/military/geopolitics/ etc. he sounds clueless.

Yes these posts were a bit bizarre I must say, and think he is too emotionally involved in trying to get rid of BAL that he has lost rational thought and analysis.

Take a look at South America. Countries with 200+ years or more of Western style democracy are on the verse of collapse. examples are countless. Columbia, Honduras, Dominicana, El Salvador... even the US and the UK, with high living standards on paper, are messy and that can only be worse. People who have jobs are struggling, even have to go to food banks.

A highly educated person may want to go to the US, because you will be in the top 30%, but for the bottom 20%, North Korea living standard of an average citizen may be paradise.

The way for a country and for an individual to go may be far different.

Bro,

@mb444 poster is a low intellect cut and paste merchant.

His link between rule of law and democracy still has me pissing with laughter.

No doubt he read it in some western rag.

And just cut and pasted to me without any critical thinking 😂😂🤣🤣

Well chumpstar,

You should have called me out there and then to prove it and if I could not that would have been the end of it.

But as you can not speak bangla, you could not take up the challenge.

I will carry on and be entertained by the drivel that you and your ilk spew into your little echochamber. You guys are not the first unhinged weirdos here and you wont be the last.

Well I live in UK, nothing is collapsing. There are strikes, there is a cost of living crisis but there is no possibility of any kind of revolution.

The bottom 20% of population of UK enjoys living standard far in excess of overwhelming majority of the population of N.Korea.

You are in south korea so you are close to the issue. S. Korean per capita GDP is approximately is only 70% of UK GDP. How would you compare bottom 20% of south Koreas population to N.Korea? Now extrapolate for a much much richer country which is UK.

In terms of south america, not sure where you got your information from. Brazil/Argentina transition to democracy only in the 80's, their colonial mother countries of portugal
and spain started their journey towards democracy only a decade before. Other south american countries are also only democratising now, the majority of the population of these countries are POC with leadership of european descent, they are not democracies.

You are never going to live down that quote!

What, the quote taken directly from the article you posted?

Only turkey here is obvious for everyone to see.

But dude, unfortunately you lack the capacity to judge if I know anything about economics or not.

You do not know much about economic theory at all, nor how things works in practice. You thought somehow BD will move to trading in Yuan just because the govt advised business to consider using Yuan and advised bank to facilitate. You actually think BD business houses trades in foreign currency.

Your bizzare calculations and ratios are Ofcourse very simplistic. Its not your fault, I suppose you are working with rudimentary grasps of how you think things work. Its ok, I am assuming you are just a teenager and I do not admonish children for being children.
