What's new

Export bids for JF-17 Thunder Multirole Lightweight Fighter Aircraft

please PAC do not under any circumstance export the JF17 Block III

Block III is for PAF only

dont want Block II go buy F16 we do not need your cash in exchange of releasing our secrets

Bro calm down
It's not like we are selling a star ship to the enemies
There's are a lot of jets currently in the market with the same configuration probably better

Selling this product will only help the local industry & might help PAC inject more dollars into R&D to come up with an even better varient
possible even help further project AZM

On topic of J-10 and AL-31, it does not make any logical sense !

AL-31 Turbofan Engine was also originally developed by Mian Sahib, with the assistance of Captain Safdar and Maryam Nawaz. But, alas, our Establishment didn't allow Mian Sahib to implement it in Pakistan.

Well, but for what does the Qatar Emiri Air Force need JF-17s? IMO only a twin-seater variant would make sense ...
Diplomatic buying most likely. But can work in LIFT role too if two seat version is procured.

Makes sense from a political and operational perspective. Many of the instructors in QAF are PAF or ex-PAF types. Will be easier to train Qatari pilots of MFI-17s and JF-17 LIFTs in this case.

They are inducting a massive fleet of fighters but only have 9 BAE Hawks for advanced training
