Why not India help Afghanistan to return the same favor and much more to the real perpetrators of these attacks in the same coin with compounded interest, where it really matter ????? I mean that will be more clear message. :p:

Actually you have been doing that for past several years and have failed.

Try something new. Looks like you have already used your cards.

Militants have attacked an army base near a military academy in the Afghan capital, Kabul, killing at least 11 soldiers.

Sixteen other Afghan soldiers were injured, a defence ministry spokesman told the BBC.

Five militants were involved, said the spokesman. Four were killed in the attack but one was arrested.

The attack has been claimed by the Islamic State (IS), according to the militant group's Amaq news agency.

MORE ON AFGHANISTAN
At least 11 soldiers have been killed and 16 others wounded in a pre-dawn attack on a military compound in Kabul, days after more than 100 people were killed in a suicide attack in the Afghan capital, a defence ministry official has told Al Jazeera.

Dawlat Waziri, the spokesman for the ministry of defence, said on Monday that the fighting at the Marshal Fahim National Defense University was over after the attackers, armed with rocket-propelled grenades and automatic rifles, were subdued.

"There were five attackers, two of them detonated their suicide vests, two others were gunned down by security forces and one was arrested alive," Waziri said.

The attack on Monday was claimed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also known as ISIS) via the group's Amaq website.

Monday's attack comes as Kabul residents are grieving over the suicide bombing on Saturday in the city centre, which killed at least 103 people and left 191 people wounded.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for Saturday's assault, saying its target was government officials.

Since the end of the last month, more than 200 people have been killed and hundreds wounded in a wave of attacks unleashed by the Taliban and rival ISIL.

At least 40 people were killed after Taliban fighters attacked Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul on January 21, while four days later another attack on Save the Children office in Jalalabad left at least six people dead.

Abdullah Fahimi, lecturer at Abu Rayhan University in Kabul, told Al Jazeera that the city has seen a sharp increase of attacks by armed groups in the past two winters.

"This comes in response to the aggressive strategy followed by the Afghan government as well as the US government, which slapped sanctions on six members of Taliban and the Haqqani Network," Fahimi said.

good to knw . pani jesi daal or jali hui roti finally have something to use .

When our adversary consider and believe us to be weak and coward. It's always in our best interest. So no regrets. :p:

Muslims in india are not safe, india has problem with muslim neighbours, indians elected butcher of gujrat as pm and then indian on here talks about helping afghani.
what a double standard!

Firstly it's your narrative which is not true. Yes, India does have social problems, but not more than any other democracies. Just tell me how many Indian's, let alone Muslims are crossing our borders as refugees or seeking asylum elsewhere because of their safety concerns from India ???

But do introspect the conduct of your own country before pointing fingers on us.

Moreover we will keep on helping Afghanistan wherever possible because our concerns and interests converge to a greater extend. But you can keep crying about our double standards, it ain't gonna make any difference among members of much larger global village.:lol::lol:

Americans and NATO needs to get up their lazy backsides and do some work, Kabul not secure, loosing territory, free movement of terrorists and when Pak doing OPS no actions on Afgan side, Pak building fence, opposing that too...what the really they are doing there....other then drug trade.

.
Wtf.... International countries should start fight against terrorism in Afghanistan.

Just like srilanka did with LTT in srilanka. These should be a world war 3 against terrorism
They have been killing them for years.
Now what, come and bomb the rest of the country that is left. Kill more innocent people??
Sadly I don't know what the solution could there be.
Kill the Taliban, but afghan army, government, police, intelligence failed miserably. No one can be more incompetent.
Talk with the Taliban, I mean after what they have done from ages and now....
Before they used to target military and law enforcement of government officials but now they don't shy away from killing babies. They used to stop fighting in winter but not anymore. They are barbarians. They are not even animals.
Only Allah can save afghanistan...
