No one India is in denial. As usual you jumped in after reading the title. Its the 'external' observers voicing their skepticism. How did the Australian defence attache in Pakistan become an Indian ?

people keep talking about second strikes here , but offer no facts as to how this will be possible. Pakistan at the moment has no capability for a sub launched missile. their subs do not have this capability , nor does Pakistan possess the capacity to structurally modify their existing subs.
by the way India is not an immediate threat to you . we only hear all these claims of second strike because India recent leasing of a nuke sub and the new agni test. till then there was no sound heard from the Pakistani establishment about the second strike capability .

far be it from me to suggest you forget second strike and concentrate on stopping the drones which attack your country on a regular basis . but do take it under advisement.
