India has good relations in Kabul and Kabul alone. If trillions of dollars and the worlds best armed forces couldnt solve the Afg problem what hope does a 3rd world country like india have with it laughable armed forces who's only combat experience in the last 2 decades has been blinding stone pelters in kashmir.

India was and will never be a on the big boys table when it comes to afghanistan, india is just another bystander who's donating wheat to afghans LOL. as soon as the Nato forces go away all your consulates will be bombed by Taliban anyway.

There is nothing legitimate about a government that's only there at the whim of an occupying force (or 20). I don't consider Taliban or the Northern Alliance legitimate either. That's what makes Afghanistan so farcical as a country. There is no Afghan government but at least a dozen foreign powers and intelligence agencies holed up there calling the shots and the Afghans don't even recognise the borders they are pretending to control.

Your under impression we are making friends with government of Afghanistan, we are making friends with people of Afghanistan. Government changes, but people to people contact remain.
