Expert | Israel attack on Iran ' imminent '.

Scavenger foreign policy won't make you the great power you hope to become.

Why not? What are our stakes to benefit from or lose in such a battle? Even the United States refuses to butt in where it sees no personal benefit to usurp.

United States is an established power, it has choices, emerging nations have to stand their ground to win friends. If you abandon Iran, you lose them to China, Pakistan camp.

This is where being a secular democracy plays to our benefit. Unlike Pakistan that sees herself forced into assuming positions on account of being an Islamic republic, India faces no such constraints to base her decisions.

Being secular means nothing, its about geography and political standing. Iran will remember Indian vote against them at UNSC and will be watching your actions in regards to Iran,Israel situation very closely. They are not stupid enough, not to see who's on their side and who just pretends to be. That will feed into the strategic Iranian calculus and that will decide their future dealings and image towards India. For Pakistan, having good relations with Iran are pivotal not only because they are a friendly Muslim state, whom we share infinite history and culture with but also as a neighbour a , powerful regional player, our shortest route to Turkey, and an important source of trade and energy.

Being secular means everything!!! This is why we can choose to vote against Iran against her nuclear ambitions and vote against Israel on Palestine as well. All this at the low price of not having any relations hurt with either of them. Look us up when your nation can replicate the same level of faith.

Our Nation isn't seeking to become a superpower, we are just focusing on the region to outflank you where ever we get a chance.

Outflank us? Why? What existential threat does India pose to Pakistan?

Since Hezbollah is a Iranian creation funded and kept alive by Iran it is a compliment, thanks :)

It is because hezbulah missiles and the proximity to Israel they are more of a threat, nothing to be proud of because these missiles are tools of terrorists
