First fulfill the orders of IAF before thinking about exporting the same
Indonesia is a third world country, too poor to afford a proper, working jets so they settle with crap, flying coffins made by an even poorer country that is india.
You should delete quoted post ASAP.
We never know how it might help India or go against it.Done but why ?
Why would you want a bigger platform for this system! Is there any other platform (bigger platform) that has been certified to carry the radar? (other than C-295 which is too small for Indonesia requiremen
Why would you want a bigger platform for this system!
Our more capable radars for bigger platforms is under development.
It doesn't need any additional computing power. I'm sure extra fuel can be managed with a slightly different variant, although I don't think it's necessary. This is a system for a small aircraft. Another aircraft will also unnecessarily complicate the integration.Bigger platform mean increase range and it can carry more computing power along with the onboard supporting infrastructure (particularly cooling system).
Although Embraer EMB 145 platform is currently suffice for Indonesia Air Force requirement, any option for bigger platform such as B-737 (with more onboard computing power) will be great selling point.
If you notice Indonesia defense procurement, they mostly share the same requirement, and that is "range". Indonesia is 3100+ nm West-East and 1000+ nm North-South and that is a lot of area to cover, which is why the KF-X / IF-X iteration for Indonesia doesn't even have internal weapon bay because it was repurpose as conformal fuel tank.
What other platform does DRDO currently developing for the radar?
It doesn't need any additional computing power.
Next development is of course 360° AWACS. It'll be integrated on A330 and the aircraft will double as a tanker. The radar is reportedly complete.

EL/W-2090 is a separate project for us, to be integrated on Il-76 like our existing AWACS, but stuck due to inflation in both aircraft and radar prices. Is the radar will use EL/W-2090 or different system? A330 MRTT is great choice
