Exclusive: Captured Suicide Bomber Interview - July 02, 09

Chicken doody!

"If", "I highly doubt" -- what's with all the qualifications now, earlier you unequivocal, now it's qualifications.

See, how easy that was? You need remedial training in your information operation section:cheers:

As for my take on this vid, well I haven't watched it so I'm going by what you guys have said.

-- He maintained children are not innocent over and over again.

This is probably the most sick and twisted thing Ive ever heard, how can anyone claim that children are not innocent ?

You didn't watch the video and rushed to 'sick & twisted'. Something to think about :hitwall:

Would be nice to see it first then come on with judgments.

Were you missing me?

I am totally 100% against the targeting of civilians,I believe this is haram. If the guy is claiming that he intended to target civilians then he is a criminal who needs to be punished for his crime no doubt.

Where was that Children Part?

Come on, i was expecting something unique from you sir, still clinging on with the old BS, the americans couldnt get anything out of it, now if yiou alsio want to give it a try, be my guest.

Xeric - I don't think pro-taliban ex-ISI officers like Khalid Khawaja are a figment of my imagination. This is a guy who is not only openly pro-taliban but also pro-al qaeda! Several government officials have hinted that there has been significant weeding out of such rotten apples over the last year or so. How many Khalid Khawajas are currently remaining in the ISI?

The ISI is an extension of the Army - it would be a mistake to treat it differently. If there are still rogue elements in the ISI that simply means rogue support for the taliban within the Army.

Could it be that there are a couple of general officers secretly or not so secretly abetting these fascist thugs? Could it be that there is a power struggle raging between the pro-taliban and pro-pakistan factions within the military?

The Lal Masjid standoff was most likely the sneak preview before Swat. The LM terrorist cleric, Abdul Aziz mentioned in 2007 that he was made aware of the government's final decision to storm the compound through a 'friend' within the military establishment. Apparently, the 'friend' called the cleric and told him to "prepare yourself...they are coming".

I wonder if this friend is still wielding influence in the military circles. :)

i have all my doubts!

Why dont you give us those hints in written form here?
BTW, rotten apples are everywhere, military is no excuse to it. The guud thing is that they are weeded away ASAP atleast in the military, as compared to many high ups in politics (and members on this forum:lol:)

:what:
i thought it was our National intelligence agency!

Oh yeah right!

Could it be that there are a couple of general officers secretly or not so secretly abetting these fascist thugs?
Valid point!
Hmmm....let me see when was the last time when UBL visited my Corp Commander....
oh yes i remember now, in 320 BC, in his dreams:rofl:

Yes, we cut each others roots, play dirty tactics to out maneuver and plan hideously to get promoted out of turn.

The Lal Masjid standoff was most likely the sneak preview before Swat.
Teaser would be the right word!

Lolzzz.... i wonder why that friend didnt get that molvi out of the harms way? His brother died, right and he ran away like a duck only to be caught on spot and embarrassed like hell. If this is what friends are to do in difficult times who need enemies!

I wonder if this friend is still wielding influence in the military circles. :)
Yes!
He is sitting right beside me and

Chill and dont strain your brain bro:tup:

I believe ISI is different in terms that no one work in ISI for whole life as in CIA etc. The apple beign talked about must be serving some place else by now.

In other words I highly doubt the authenticity of this film,I do not believe for one second that the Taliban are the savage animals they are being made out to be by the "other side"

No one is 'making the Taliban appear savage animals', they have done that all by themselves. The countless accounts by the people of Swat, some of which have been documented on this forum, all bear testimony to the savagery of the Taliban.

If nothing else, the Taliban have shown themselves to be anti-state by taking up arms against the state to enforce their ideology and 'system' upon the people of Pakistan. They have challenged the legitimately elected democratic government of Pakistan through violence, and refused to disband and lay down their arms despite several attempts and compromises by the State.

I hope you will not continue to defend anti-state elements on this forum, as did Yarmouk. The constitution of Pakistan provides a democratic and peaceful means for those unhappy with the system to galvanize support amongst Pakistanis and ride to victory at the ballot box and attempt to bring about change. The Taliban have deliberately chosen a different path - one of violence and criminality, and support for such criminal actions will not be tolerated.

^^

Talibaans are worst than animals even they don't kill other animals for pleasure.

All those beheading videos available on youtube, particularly cutting throats from back side to inflict more punishment/pain are proudly made and distributed by Talibans. Did talibaans ever detach themselves from these? No, because they actually did these heinous crimes which is against the clear teachings of Islam.

The suicide bomber mentioned Lal Masjid and Bajaur operation as his primary motivation.

One way to stop this ideology from taking afoot is to start an open, transparent and impartial inquiry into these events and punish those responsible if there were elements guilty. This way the recruiters will lose their idealogical and baseless premise of "good" muslims being mistreated by GoP - hence we can attack it
