@Bilal9 bhai, unfortunately he actually isn't talking for anyone. He is a Pakistani and unfortunately many of our Pakistani fellows underestimate Bangladesh.
I don't blame them though because either it's because of ignorance or because they are victim of propaganda.
However we also have our fair share of responsibility as our top policy makers had been Indian stooge ( after the death of Sheikh mujib ; we must not forget that he normalised relationship with pakistan) all of our rulers were Indian asset ( sorry to say Ziaur Rahman was also the same , you can read the book of major Dalim here is the link , "

And this Dalim was one of the killer of Sheikh Mujib , so you have will have no doubt on him when he is.calling Zia as Indian asset) ,and through these assets India divided and ruled Bangladesh.
You see still we are dangerously divided into BNP BAL or BAL and anti BAL.
However after the death of Bangabandhu Sheikh mujib, now Haisna is only one who isn't pro Indian and although current BAL govt is no longer under Indian influence, still there are many stooges inside govt and also inside anti govt entity.
So if others underestimate Bangladesh I don't entirely blame them specially people who have no idea of ground reality of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is a secular Muslim country ( freedom of religion sense) and most of it's people hate expansionist India so much, that no Pakistani will ever even can imagine of such hate, simply because we had been the main victim of hindutva and their British master for 190 years.
And this hate can be much more powerful than nuclear weapons.
And now current deep state is actually using people's sentiment and also their own wisdom ( wisdom of deep state , because most of Bangladeshi people lack wisdom due to emotion), and countering raw.
You see China is our ally and always on our side.
So even if we are becoming stronger secretely we won't let others know. We aren't seeking for wars , but we are just ready for it.
And that's others don't know. So let other people think as they please.
Let's be optimistic and confident about our own power.

But he said it more practically as he is professional journalist and former military officer.
And as far I know, defense journal bd is the only journal that officially published by people who had military Background ( retired military people) , however there could be more ,I am not sure.
However please watch every second of the interview and be happy.
MR Rushd said that India wanted to attack us 3 times but China saved us.

Yes we are literally inside an volcano, and any wrong movement can push us into the cross fire between China and America, but if we wisely act , we can get the best benefits.
However if we can be less dependant on garments, we will be less dependant on west too, so can permanently join Chinese block if it's necessary.
But we have to be industrialized.
But India is not an option who can create trouble for us.
