Exactly how much of Pakistan's wealth is coming back from abroad?

My question is how will Pakistan tax a property overseas? I mean does it have right to tax on foreign land?
Yes, if he do not have any foreign income then it is basically money laundering, for example an army general having house in Canada having no declared source of income in Canada is accountable in Pakistan ... These guys shows that property in Canada from income earned in Pakistan whereas in Pakistan no income is on income tax return ... So we can investigate all such cases ...

.
Difficult to estimate ... However, I think we can highlight here if we have some known property of persons and NAB or FIA can trace it to the tax returns and investigate ...

Just Lock Up All The Politicians. No Need For Chittar Or Maula Buksh.Just Make Them Watch "Two Girls One Cup" Trust Me They Will Give Up Even Their Legitimate Wealth:devil::devil::rofl::rofl:

.
It means we are looking at an undefined target with no timeline of returning back.
Jis hisaab se looti hui daulat batai jaati hai us ka 50% bhi wapis a gayi tou yahan doodh ki nehren behni chahiyen
The figures in the media are exaggerated ... These are inclusive of the wealth of millions of Pakistani's living and working abroad ...

I agree with people saying that getting looted money back is some kind of solution.
The looted money is only a bonus.
The actual work needs to be done by the Pakistani people.
They need to pay a fair and progressive tax like everywhere else and help develop their own country.

So overseas income for overseas purchase is ok....just not Pakistani income for overseas purchase?

There isn't any good press coverage given to us already.Better to get bad press along with our money, bad press would be history while money would live on.
If you want to make everyone happy, then go and sell ice cream.
Do you think Zardari or Mian would gave you anything, which they have made from black money in foreign countries?
Who is making everyone happy but being realistic....Islam doesnt teach us to become mass murderer! Sure NS and Zardari wont give us a penny but why should we become blood sucking like them? No one is saying forgive them...but use appropriate channels and my question was based on that....What channel do we have?

.
What channel do we have?
No possible legal channel to bring back such huge sum exists neither we have got any example from history, where any such thing did happened.
You can only do it using back doors.Family members of these bastards ain't any saints.
Islam doesnt teach us to become mass murderer!
Islam has not taught us to lie,to drink,to commit zina,to kill and never engage in Riba but momineen and mominaat are doing it at industrial scale. When you can break Islamic code of conduct in so many ways, break it once more time for nations.

Killing of 1 life is the same as killing of whole of humanity...It isnt that simple!

That's for innocent not for those, who are engaged in corruption on industrial scale.
Many of these bastards are drinkers, zinakars, murderers and thugs. If you would bring Islam in it,none of them would walk away.

It isnt solely for innocents....Besides, I dont want any blood bath and you shouldnt view such stuff lightly! Death of these people wont bring any money back to Pakistan!

Only way Pakistan , can get out of it's financial problem is when more people will pay taxes locally and Expats will help in minor sense.

...Another common explanation for Pakistan’s relatively uninspiring economic performance is that the country’s riches are regularly plundered by corrupt politicians and civil servants, making it seem poorer than it is. Every military intervention in Pakistan’s politics has been predicated on the assumption that an honest general can help recover the billions of dollars siphoned from the economy and stashed in bank accounts abroad, though no large-scale repatriation of stolen Pakistani wealth has so far occurred.

Still, it is not unusual for Pakistanis to talk about overseas property and ‘billions of dollars’ in Swiss accounts that would, if brought back, help Pakistan become collectively wealthy. 4 Instead of offering concrete suggestions for economic policy, politicians rail against the alleged corruption of their opponents and offer the promise of prosperity based on ‘bringing back the nation’s looted wealth’. Little effort is made to understand the economic explanations for flight of capital or why corruption in Pakistan does not result in local capital formation as it does in countries like South Korea or China...

...Although remittances enhance the country’s foreign exchange reserves, they are spent by millions of individuals and do not enhance the government’s treasury. Only aid provides budget support in hard currency and can be used for buying military equipment that Pakistan constantly needs. ‘Most of Pakistan’s needs,’ said a newspaper article explaining Pakistan’s reliance on aid, ‘are of an urgent nature and cannot be postponed. Mobilizing resources, bringing back the billions parked abroad and broadening the tax net are all easier said than done.’

Although the governor of the State Bank of Pakistan has publicly said that ‘$ 25 million are illegally taken abroad each day’, Pakistan has not been able to get a single dollar repatriated from the much-talked-about illegal overseas holdings. According to the author of the article, ‘The drive to broaden the tax base has also failed to take off. Out of over 31,000 notices that were recently sent by the Federal Board of Revenue, two-thirds were returned undelivered, and less than 500 people filed their income tax returns.

he should come back to face the law

Yes its ok to purchase assets from foreign income provided that he is non resident (non resident is a person who has spend more than 180 days outside Pakistan)

If he is resident than he has to file income tax return in Pakistan in which purchase of assets needs to be shown ...

he should come back to face the law
Until Pakistani law enforcement gets its "embezzlement" case together the crimes H.H. are accused of appear to be purely political in nature. Should he return to face possible execution for these? Would it be good for Pakistan?

Aristotle fled Athens when accused of such things, "lest the Athenians sin twice against philosophy" - the execution of Socrates being the first in Athens' case (as the execution of Z.A. Bhutto was in Pakistan's case.) Perhaps refusing "to face the law" is the kindest deed H.H. can do for the people of Pakistan, as Aristotle's refusal was for Athens.
