General Azad Durrani in this Al Jazeera interview openly admits doing these as ISI chief.
He also clearly states that civilian governments including current ones are so incompetent and corrupt that military rule is the only alternative.
He refuses to deny that ISI did not spend millions to try and defeat PPP in elections during his tenure
He thinks the world should applaud Taleban!

I have seen the interview, he did not state Pakistan created The Pakistani Taliban. He said they helped create and fund the Afghan Taliban.
He also said we should applaud the Taliban fro resisting a foreign invasion, not referring to to the TTP.

Ao what is Afghan Taliban now... I tell u it was a initial faze of todays Taliban.. When Soviet retreated and all left without job... Conquest to stable and recreate Islamic emirate of Afghanistan due to years of invasion and fight started developing in the veterans of Soviet era... Non favourable govt.. Landlords...etc made such intentions strong... and rest u know how Pakistan used Afghan Taliban to minimize indian presence in Afghanistan...

To all Pakistani who seem to think this ISI chief is not saying what I summarized: JUST WATCH THE VIDEO I LINKED WHERE HE QUITE ADMITS IT ALL! His only defence: all agencies do that, so why not ISI.

And to the Pakistanis who think he is lying: you are in denial. You can see how proud and unrepentent he is. At one point he says in so many words: the killing of people in Afghanistan was neecessaary to defeat Russians. He thanks the British for not destroying opium trade. He says morality hasno role, right or wrong has no place! Only`mission` matterss he says. On direct question about 30 to 70000 dead he deadpans `Collateral damage`.

This guy is thee honest face of evil! He loves his actions so much that he even guesses that addmitting to incompetence was smarter than admitting truth about ISI shelteering OBL.

And to those who say this is all old news: yes ofcourse. But this is devil admitting its evil in its own words. I am hoping there are a few Pakistanis with some morality left in them who will see what ISI has done to Afghanistan, India and Pakistan itself due to the opinion of generlal who do not agree with their choice of civilian leaders.
