What's new

Every religious extremist should see this

The thread has lost its value. The low levels to which Pakistani members can stoop to has been shown here. An administrator calls Krishna's dress as Halloween costume (never mind that it is a North American ritual) and gets away with it (who can ban him for offending a religion anyway), a Think Tank (really?) posts nonsense, but no one can check him really.

Another dude posted saying it is being done to blend in. Hell yes, that is the truth. Thousands of Sikh, Christian and minority kids do this to fit in. I don't see any of their e-mullahs criticizing this. And what about this - I never believed in god while I was growing up, but I still dressed up in all these ways - to FIT IN.

If you religion restricts you from personifying god and your prophet, that is fair and reasonable. But how does it give you the right to criticize someone else's religion?

This is how people lose their identity and no wonder Indian muslims are fast becoming alienated. Cursed is a muslim who emulates asthetics or dressing of other religions. For the disorientated clueless indians preserving religious identity has nothing to do with extremism. If my brother or someone dressed up like that he did be in for a good whooping.

 this is what happens when you grow up watching bollywood and indian propaganda!

On one side they wear Burqa and on the other side they dress their children up as hindu deities, talk about going against the Quran and Sunnah!

I guess you see it that way.

The way I see it is that people feel part of the same community where diverse religious views are to be celebrated and not used to create artificial boundaries. There are countless such examples all over the world. All you need to see it is an open mind.

There is no reason to create a thread like this when it is well known what the response will be.

And some Pakistanis will never stop the "muslimness" of Indian muslims.

Even though no one should question the "Islam" in Pakistan that led to the genocide of million+ Bengalis in the late 60s to 71, or the five baloch insurgencies, the continuing war between shia sunni deobandi barelvi ahmedis e.t.c.
Although all schools of thought has declared that suicide bombing is Haram including the wahabbi ulemas in Saudi Arabia, the "Islam" in Pakistan churns out suicide bombers like a factory.

So please, no need to question the faith of Indian muslims.

How is that against "Qu'ran" and "Sunnah"? Even if it is, I would choose harmony over "Sunnah" and "Qu'ran".

She is trying to spread the message of universal brotherhood. I am glad that she is a muslim!

ALIENATED? DID YOU SAY ALIENATED?

My dear bozo, The last last I checked, Indian muslims were not the ones being alienated.

:Mod Edit: Respond to the post, not the poster. Don't get personal. Consider yourself warned!

Uh oh, looks like this thread's running out of gas.

I don't see anything "Constructive" or "Debatable" coming out of this thread. A Mother dresses her kid like a Hindu God and we're supposed to get the impression that India is a very tolerant, humble and harmonious place for a Muslim to live? Might be, might NOT be.

The fact still remains that this picture might not say a thousand words but its definitely going to attract a over a thousand trolls.
